im in a great dilemma. my boyfriend and i broke up because he cheated on me. he might sound like an asshole but trust me he's a really great boyfriend - other than when he cheated. for my birthday last February, he did so so so much for me. he bought me lots of stuff, brought me out for dinner, surprised me. he really put in a lot of effort to make me happy. so my concerns are:

if i wish him, what if he takes hours to reply because he's busy calling someone else or gaming? i would be damn hurt by it. im saying this because 1 week after the broke up, i missed him too much and texted him but he took hours to reply me bc he was busy gaming. and if it happens, it'll show that my birthday wish means nothing to him while it meant so much to me. I'll seem so pathetic and I'll be so hurt.
BUT, if he misses me, the birthday wish could make his day. and im scared that maybe he's looking forward to a wish? what if he gets hurt because i didn't send him one.

honestly i think that the chances of him taking hours to reply me bc he's busy is 80%. should i not send him one then? but he did so much for me...

I know I've been posting lots of q's about my situation, but please bear with me.
I have feelings for a close friend, but I think he only sees me as a friend. (Friends kiss friends on the shoulder, right?) He and I are almost like best friends, we text everyday, hang out, study, bring each other food when we're busy, and lately we've been seeing each other almost everyday. We also had dinner at a fancy place on my birthday last week (we'd been to dinner before but not as romantic).
So, I have a dilemma. Men have been asking me out but I've been putting them on hold - which I know is bad - because I don't usually date others while I'm close and in love with someone already. My bestie says I need to see other people for a while, my aunt says it's not right to be seeing other people while I'm in a "situationship" with someone else, and another friend tells me to completely move on (but she's been against him/me since the beginning so...) My older, best guy friend says if it were him he'd want me to tell him how I feel before seeing other guys because he may feel the same way and would feel hurt if I started seeing people without telling him.
Who's advice should I take? In my last post, most people picked "move on", but I feel like your opinions - as well as that of my friend who tells me to move on - are based on the one boundary we have. So, this time, I won't write about that "boundary" and to those who read my last post, I'd apprecitate it if you could ignore that fact before voting/commenting your opinions (if you plan to).

My heart tells me to let things be and to not care if I'm in a complicated "situationship", as long as he and I are both happy. Which we are.
My head tells me to wake up and listen to my friend who tells me to move on
My gut tells me to see these other guys just to give him a wake up call that i'm not gonna wait around
And a tiny part of me thinks it wouldn't be too bad to confess. I'm just afraid.

Okay so my friend wants to take me to the Warped Tour. She's paying for the tickets and everything. The problem is Warped Tour is on my dad's birthday... I really want to see all of these bands and hang out with my friends but... it's my dad's birthday. I would be meeting my heros. The ones who I listened to when times got hard. Please help...
