Search Results: why doesn't he want to date

Okay so me and this girl have been friends for like 7 years. I am a female as well. We've always had an eye for eachother since gradeschool but we never took it to the next level until 2 years ago. We hook up a lot and it is always so passionate. We cuddle also We tell eachother all types of things during sex, for example: I love you so much, you're my girlfriend, you're the only woman i want... you know stuff like that. lol We also cuddle from time to time. Now i have recently revealed to her that i am in love with her. she told me she wasn't looking to date a female, and that wasn't where her heart was. I took note of that, but we STILL have sex and tell each other the same things. We argue like a couple aswell and she always brings up relationship matters, even if thats not what the initial argument is about. for example, she gets upset if i hang out with other girls. and she always accuses me of messing around with other women eventhough thats not true.
We dont usually get upset about dating guys though (well she doesnt). Deep inside i hate her dating anyone although i never admit it. I think she knows that but i feel like she rubs the other guys in my face, like inviting me over when she is with them or telling me how much she likes a guy (note that this woman knows that i am in love with her). I try to support her because i realize we will never be official, so I take on the friend role a lot of times and just support what she wants.
I feel like im putting her happieness before my own. I guess i just want to know if anyone can help decode what this girl is really feeling. why would she bring other love intrests around me when she knows how i feel about her? Should i let these feelings go or should i stick around hoping maybe she'll have a change of heart?

Just like everyone else on here I am having my fair share of boy problems... I guess my issue is what this guy really wants from me. We've dated before for 4 years and now we're basically bf/gf without a title. My best bet would be to give you some conversation between us and I want to see what you guys think. Am I getting used? Could he be serious about wanting to focus on school? WHAT DOES HE WANT. (That being said he never seems to give me the full truth "because he doesn't want to hurt me")

Me: "I just wish you would be more of a friend to me like I need you to be"
Him: "I can easily be your friend but I just think you're asking more of me then what a friend should be giving"

Me: "... Once we move past all the issues between us and we're we want to be financially and academically, would you be willing to work on us again?"
Him: "yeah absoultely. I think it would be stupid of me to just walk away considering we've already been through so much that has really shaped us into who we are"

Him: " The other day we didn't kiss at all i could tell that was bothering you and its not like im saying i feel bad but i do it b/c I know its what you want and its hard for me not to given everything we've been through"

Another thing that really stuck on me was he's telling me that he doesn't want me to get the wrong idea about us and how we're just friends and how he "doesnt want to push me away but tries not to pull me too close" I start to really think because if he doesn't want to "pull me close" or "give me the wrong idea" then why is he telling me he'd be willing to work on us again?

okay the first guy is nice, experienced in bed, is 17 and interested in me but has other options and told me so. he literally said "...by the way, you know I won't be single forever right? someone might beat asking me out before you, just saying." he said this knowing I've been going through a rough time and don't want to dive into a relationship. he's bright, mysterious and wants to just take the time to get to know me, till tonight when he said this, I'm not sure what he wants any more. I asked him if I actually meant something to him or just another option to date and he said I mean something to him but there are other people he thinks that are hot. he's been perfect up till this point and I was actually about to say I wanted to start a relationship with him but now I am wary because of what he has said. (ive known him for 2 years but haven't really started talking till about a month ago)

the next guy is sweet, innocent virgin (doesnt get most of my perverted jokes), a month older than me, never had a girlfriend, trustworthy and I've known him since middle school and would hang out in a group of 4 people and sometimes there were more that came by but mainly 4. I'm not sure if he is interested in me but I used to like him in middle school too and tonight after the way guy #1 acted, I was fed up and hung out with guy #2 because our group hasn't hung out in a long time. I started to like him again and was flirting a bit. we all had a nice timeand he accidently touched my b**b and wouldn't stop apologizing ALL night. while we were driving to his house to drop him off, I was leaning my head on his shoulder partly because I was tired and the day at the mall was exausting. then as the car stopped, I got out of the car to let him out and as we hugged goodbye I kissed the base of his neck discreetly so our friend's mom wouldn't notice even though he definately did. he didn't jump back or anything, just kind of froze for a second. then we hugged for a little longer then let go and waved goodbye. I didn't hug anyone else goodbye and neither did he.
