My sorta ex almost lost his best friend yesterday in a car crash. Nothing major, but still, he could've died. Anyways, my ex rudely dumped me/ ghosted me 3 months ago and blocked me on snap. He unfollowed on instagram but didn't block. In this recent month my ex seems to be regretting what he has done and would try to look at me and be near me, etc. It was like he wanted to approach me but wasn't sure if I would forgive him. We still haven't talked. When I walked by in the hallways, I've run into his best friend (who smiled at me even though we probably spoken once) I still care about my ex and I'd feel like a bitch for not caring his best friend almost died. With that settled, if you were suddenly murdered, or if you sustained fatal injuries in a car crash, fire, or other catastrophic event, basically if you died, would you want your partner to move on to someone else, or stay loyal to you even beyond death? Would your decision be different if you were an older versus a younger couple? And if you do want them to move on, how long would you want them to wait, if at all?
