I know I may sound cold hearted but I wouldn't be able to... Raising a child is hard enough but to raise one with disabilities must be a difficult time. I've read stories on reddit about parents raising them and most of them wish they just got an abortion instead. Some were saying how it brought their marriage to a divorce. Now they're stuck with someone they'll have to spend their whole lives taking care of. I just wouldn't be able to do it. Not that I have anything against people with disabilities but I have things in my life that I'd like to do. I don't want my marriage ruined because of an accident. What do you think?

After growing up and getting a job should people be obliged to pay their parents back all the money that their parents spent on raising them?

I had debated with my mom about this awhile back.

I feel that any additional money made through income tax belongs to the child and should be placed into an account for them after they turn 18.
Without that child they would never get such large tax returns of up to 5k.

However due to selfishness, greed and entitlement "adults" feel that are getting money owed to them for raising their kids as some kind of reward.

1st and foremost, it was your decision to have a kid. When you decide to have a kid it's your responsibility to raise them.
Unplanned pregnancies as well. You should be held accountable for your actions.

Most parents blow it on bullshit anyways. Improper investments.

after 18 years of income tax each kid would have roughly 30k in an account. Enough for a down payment on a home or even go to college.

I personally feel cheated out of such an opportunities i could do with a given amount after thinking about this myself

Family wife - more focused on raising a family and providing for the family in different ways than just a job. Looking after the kids a lot.

Independent wife - speaks for itself. Self sufficient. Do your own shit.

Yes I think all unmarried women must join the military and go to war. Maybe it should be optional for women since they're supposed to be the ones raising kids in war time. I'm not talking about a certain military but just in general. That's even encouraged from the religious side. Joan of arc was a saint, a woman, and a knight.
