Pigging or 'pulling a pig' refers to the practice (instigated by young men) of asking women out as a joke or a prank. The term coming from the fact that the woman in question is deemed to be unattractive and/or overweight (hence the hugely witty reference to farmyard animals).

It's a game that sees a man try to woo a woman they deem 'fat and ugly', solely because he and his friends think it is 'funny'.

I have just called a really close friend of mine who I have been crushing on for a while. I am pretty sure she likes me back but I just want second opinions. I called her and when she picked up there was a brief pause, roughly 3-5 seconds, before she said hello. When she did she sounded slightly nervous but when I replied with hello she got really excited and seemed happy I called. Her voice also seemed a bit more high pitched as well.

We went on with our conversation and I mention I might have a career opportunity in another country. When she heard this she sounded happy but also concerned when she said “that sounded great.” She then proceeded to ask me if it would be one where I would stay temporarily or if I would stay there permenantly. This question made me think she might like me back because why would she ask me that unless she was concerned I would come back or not.

She would also ask me a lot about how, despite my experience in working with land animals, I am very knowledgeable about marine life too (I was a former animal behaviorist but now I might have a chance to work in another country, in case you were wondering). But I also asked if she would love to go grab a cup of coffee if I came up and she said she would love too if her schedule would permit it.

So so how about it folks, does she like me or am I reading into things too much?

Do you think we are meant to be together? To fall in love and dedicate ourselves to one man/woman? Look at the animal kingdom. Most animals do not date and instead have meaningless casual sex. Do you think the same applies to people? Our society used to shun casual sex. Of course people slept around and stuff throughout human history but I don't think it was as common as it is now, and dating always was put before casual sex. But now, we see dating among young people dying. Young people don't date. It's all just sex. Lots of sex with many different people. I think people now (thanks to Liberals) can behave the way they want without "breaking" social norms. And as a result we see the death of monogamy and meaningful relationships. So this makes me ask the question - were humans meant to date? Are relationships unnatural? I think modern "datng" kinda proves that maybe humans never wanted to date/marry but society forced them to.

What do you think?

The title says it all... if you're curious about all the words with a slash, it's so this question is directed for both those who are in high school currently, and those who have already graduated from high school.

I included the poll options so it's easier, in case you don't want to write anything out... heck, you don't even need to read the whole poll option. I put the most important/to the point part in CAPS. The rest is just sort of extra information. You don't have to match it 100%, if the general idea still applies to you you're good enough to pick it.

ME, PERSONALLY, (stop reading if my personal take doesn't interest you) I'm basically the third option in the poll. In the middle. I'm a high school senior. Throughout high school, I've only taken 7 AP classes... none in my freshman year, one in my sophomore year, three in my junior year, and three currently in my senior year. I did some of my volunteer hours a while back this past summer, for helping animals in a shelter. I've never gave a shit about clubs, though.

I'd say I'm decently smart and ambitious, but I know MANY MANY people who make my "hard work" seem like nothing. I'm also better than a lot of people in that sense, but just as many people still make me seem like nothing. Overall, I guess that makes me "average."

It took me months to end up talking to this girl... After I succeed... She and I ate a few lunches together, talked one on one late 3 times and played some soccer together (just the both of us)... Sadly this was during the last 2 months of the uni semester...

So we starting messaging eachother over fb (apparently she likes that over texting). I know she's a shy person (asked a few of her friends) and she's awfully quiet too. When we started messaging on fb... We used to talk all the time and sometimes the convos ended up being late into the night. It slowly stopped after she got a summer job... But still we were texting frequently. There were times where I started the convo... Other times she did...

Later on I decided randomly to ask her to go to a jazz restaurant with me... She's like let's get some friends and let's go... She replies this 2hours after seeing the message and we were going back and forth... So I took it as she only sees me as a friend... So obviously I'm sad... So I didn't message her often or initiate the convo... But she kept on messaging me and she started all the convos... She would tell me about her day... Sometimes ask me about mine... Sometimes rant about work... Whatever...

So we go back and forth... And I'm trying to get to know her... I ask her simple 3 year old questions.. Ex: whats ur fav animal and all that... She NEVER answers any of my questions. She didn't even answer what's her favorite color. I'm mind blown. I asked her why she never answers any of my questions. She says because I ask too many then she went on to explain to me that FB is used for sending eachother dumb memes & all that. I'm stunned cus she tells me about her day and all that. I didn't wanna start a fight so I said I ask a lot of questions because I want to get to know you & you never answer any of my questions.

She stopped responding. 2 weeks later she msgs me saying she's done with her summer job *sad face*

Can someone help me? Does this girl like me or no?
