ok so my boyfriend and ex bff dated for a year then when they broke up the first time my boyfriend and I dated then after 2 weeks of ignoring him she started talking to him again which caused him to break up with me after a week then after like 6 months we got back together after another break up and then she said she was jealous of us so after a few days he broke up with me and after a week got back with her and they dated for a month and now we're back together... was she trying to split us up those 2 times?

Though I hate both candidates, I must say this is the most active I've noticed people in my community partaking in politics when they otherwise would not have.
I guess that's the only benefit.

However, It's not just Trump and Clinton that's the issue.

How are we realistically supposed to appeal to most, the US is freaking huge. (How does China manage? Lol) I know liberals tend to look at Euro countries for examples or model from.
So maybe this question is silly, but I've always wondered this even as a child.
How are both major political parties supposed to get along? And then also the growing popularity of 3rd parties and others? How are policies and social norms supposed to be handled to appease all or as many people?
Some people want guns, others want them banned. Some want gay marriage, others dont. Some want capital punishment, others dont. Some want government regulation of companies, others prefer laisez-faire. Some want the environment to be protected while others think profits or oil industries are more important. Some think that its important to protect our most vulnerable and in need like veterans, homeless people, hungry children etc while others are against government intervention in social welfare programs.
I get that voting was supposed to help it, but its extremely difficult for either side to get anything done when the other side constantly blocks them and slows it down. Then, even when let's say something does get passed, people are still sometimes against it and try to stop it (Like Kim Davis, anti-choice people threatening/resorting to violence against PP, people against the NRA or even full out bans).

So realistically, how are politics supposed to be handled when people are so deeply divided and passionate about most issues? This election is getting violent and increasingly divisive, and who knows if itll keep getting worse with upcoming elections or is this near rock bottom?
Do you think there's hope, or will this cause an inevitable split?

I went to her city 2 weeks ago and we went out and had fan. At some point we met with her boyfriend and his friends. I was making eye contact with one of them and ended up kissing with him at the end of the night. I was drunk enough to say stupid things but not drunk enough to DO stupid things. Then his other friends left and it was only me, my friend, her boyfriend and the dude I was making out. Through the entire night my friend tried to split us claiming that I was drunk and he was taking advantage of me. The guy though was very kind and nice. He even suggested I stay one more night so we could meet when I was completely sober but I couldn't. When we started going to her place me and this guy left them (without them knowing it) to go to his place. Dick move, I admit I shouldn't have left like this. Anyway the next morning I go to her place and I find her extremely mad. Her "reasons" was that I got drunk and that she and her boyfriend had to babysit me through the night so I wouldn't fuck with the first guy I met. Then she asked me to leave and we haven't spoken since.
At first I was really sad and upset about it cause I considered her as my second - third best friend. Later I realized that she didn't really have a reason to treat me like this and now I'm mostly mad. I mean, if she thought I was very drunk and was worried about me why didn't she call me when I left, or why wasn't she paying enough attention so I was able to leave?
Can you find any reason in the story to basically end a three year long, good friendship?

We met this summer during our study abroad program. He's 23, a 3rd yr and I'm 19, a 2nd yr. We live in the same area so we always say we'll hang out. The first time he asked me if I wanted to grab boba but I had to reschedule. I needed to fix my phone and he suggested we meet up at the Apple Store so he accompanied me and we got ice cream. When we finished, I was going to call my mom to pick me up but he insisted on driving me home which wasn't on his way. Also after a club meeting I bumped into him. I was going home but he asked me if I wanted to join him in buying him and his brother dinner so I said yeah. But I don't understand why he invited me cause I wasn't buying anything? We ended up walking home together cause his building is next to mine. Then a few days later I invited him to my club's 1st meeting and he still came despite being 45 min late since he "promised me he would". Recently, I hit him up for food and we settled on the following Friday to eat. But then he told me to tell him if I was heading back home that weekend and I did. Once he found out, he asked if I wanted to grab pho that weekend instead. He seemed persistent on making it happen because when he couldn't do Saturday he moved it to Sunday. He also offered to pick me. But I don't know if he did that as a friend since I can't drive but I could've had my parents drive me as well. For dinner we split the bill. I covered $10 and he did the rest plus tip since it was around $23. Then this week we made workout plans and he chose the time but I discovered that he came STRAIGHT from his 8pm class. He wasn't even in workout clothes. We played frisbee for 2 hours before walking home together. Every time we've expressed on chat oh today was fun or lets do it again. He'll also send me songs/movies that he'll think I like. Also we were joking about how young we look and he said "would you be offended if I said you look 16" and so I said at least I'm a cute 16 yr old and he said "the cutest".
