Okay so a bit of a story, so I work at a bank and we have businesses that have their runners bring in deposits fairly regularly. One of them is this pretty cute girl who Im on friendly terms with. We always chit chat when she's in and she seems really nice. When she was in last, the weather had warmed up quite a bit and as we were talking she mentioned how nice it was outside and how she got to wear this flower shirt she really likes as she took a few steps back and showed it off a bit (not sure if this is relevant or not but the shirt in questions was fairly revealing) and I didn't really think much of it in the moment just that it was a nice shirt.

I was thinking about the interaction later in the day though and thought it was a bit odd. I've had female friends talk about clothes they liked before but never had someone I didn't really know well at all bring it up to me and also make a point of taking a step back so I could get a good look at her/the clothes.

So knowing that I am dense and awful at picking up signals, i called my sister after work and asked her if she thought that the deposit girl was trying to send me a signal there or if I was just overthinking things like I normally do. Well her and her roommate both agreed that the deposit girl was for sure trying to get me to make a move on her. So I'd love to get some more outside opinions, is my sister right when she says that she was trying to get my attention? Or was it just casual conversation?

I’ve had it bad for this young woman for a long time and she knows I do because I told her. We talk a fair bit and she always asks me questions about stuff. She’s opened up to me a lot too. Anyway I asked her to be my valentine and she said she would be. It’s long distance so I can’t see her. Is this a good thing tho? Like my friend said it is because if she thought you were ugly and gross she wouldn’t be your valentine. What do you think?

We talk to dogs. We ask them questions. We get responses. Like" you want to go out?" And they run to the back door. Lots of talking and doing. But can you carry on a conversation? I know my girl can. She tries to teach me. I am no good at being bilingual in Dog.
