Ruler of the Kingdom of Swaziland (or, rather, eSwatini- he officially changed its name yesterday, to mark his 50th birthday & his kingdom's 50th anniversary of independence), King Mswati III's the last absolute monarch of Africa, and possibly the most absolute, all powerful ruler over his kingdom of any ruler in the world. Known as Ngwenyama or "the lion", he has 15 wives and hundreds of fiancees (concubines- according to tradition, they can only become wives upon impregnation). Every year in August, all of the young, unmarried girls in the kingdom travel to the Ludzidzini Royal Village to participate in the Umhlanga, or Reed Dance ceremony, an eight-day event. The young, unmarried girls are placed in female age-regiments; and all girls are required to undergo a virginity test before being allowed to participate.
The girls wear beaded skirts and colorful sashes, leaving their breasts bared and their thighs exposed. They also wear anklets, bracelets, and necklaces. Each sash has appendages of a different color, which denote whether or not the girl is betrothed. Each maiden carries a long reed in the parade, symbolizing her chastity, and then carries it towering above her heads in a slow procession up the hill to Enyokeni Palace. On the final day, when the Parade ends in front of the royal residence, this reed is then deposited as they approach the king, before they dance exuberantly in front of him; and King Mswati III subsequently picks the girl (or girls) who catch his eye the most every year, as new additions to his harem.

So, what would you think of a guy who sexually fantasized about being in the same position, being the absolute monarch of his own nation, with absolute say over everything within his domain, and building a massive harem of girls in the same way as King Mswati III? Girls- if you were going out with a guy, and found out that he did, how would you react? Would you continue to date him, or dump him for it?
