The 80s is the greatest decade in human history.

On every scale imaginable it was mind-blowingly awesome.

It didn't have the best movies, music or fashion, but all of those were very entertaining and spread the message of joy.

Politically, it saw the end of communism in europe, more or less tyrannical close-knit dictatorships.

And for every major part of life here now in 2011, the 80s made it first.

Video games? It really started in the 80s.

Internet? Rooted in the 80s.

Cellphone? 80s.

Some of those had 70s origins as well but if you dwell into the 80s you'll find the big starting points were in that decade.

Don't like Hair Bands? Love Alternative rock? Started in the 80s bud.

High quality television series? Started in the 80s bud.

So when my friends constantly mock me for being stuck in the 80s, doesn't it make sense?

Place where I live my room and half the living room is circa 80s style. I wear a ton of leather and headbands and use mainstay 80s slurs.

I'm just a happy person, 90s sucked, present-day is disgusting and everything before the 80s was somewhat bland. No?

Last night at the movies, a friend (not very close) was with me and a bunch of other friends and she sat next to me during a new movie (which isn't scary, and it was fine that she sat next to me not flirty in any way). And then during the movie she kept looking at me after mind blowing scenes, leaning in closer towards me, and basically whispered the whole movie, commenting on it and were laughing and have a good time (in a flirty fashion). Also during the movie, every time that I readjusted my self in the seat, she would to. And what had been very odd is that 1) She didn't talk to anyone else during the movie when she had her best-friend beside her and 2) of all of the friends that went there with us (50% were much closer to her than me) She only gave me a hug as she left (not hugging any of here close friends), and she would usually hug those other friends and not I at every other social event . And the weird thing is is that she has a boyfriend (who wasn't there). And she isn't the kinda girl that gets around either.

So could this have been mind games?
