My best guy friend knows I have a crush on him. We are really close and spent all summer texting all day long and hanging out when we could. We both are in other relationships so we can't see each other too much outside of school. We talked about everything including his darkest secrets and lots of sexual stuff.

Now we are back in school and he's started being hot and cold with me. We tease and break balls a lot but just this week he's started to call me names. He called me bitch once and cunt a bunch of times. He NEVER does this when anyone else can hear. It's like an inside joke or pet name he has for me. He doesn't do this with anyone else. I told him today that it had to stop and he said it was a just a joke to " include" me? WTF? I asked if he thought I deserved to be called that and he seemed really hurt that I was hurt.

I know he likes me a lot. We touch every day, hugs, high fives, grooming each other, long eye contact, sitting all up on each other, whispering a lot, sharing food and drinks, etc. I know he loves to make me mad. He grins like an idiot and seems really pleased with himself when I threaten to murder him.

He's always teasing me about liking him, saying things like " you know you want it" and talking about his genitals and getting boners, etc. He kind of rubs it in my face that I like/want him. He also like to pretend to be an alpha male and he says I "challenge" him, by calling him on his bs.

Is this some really immature flirting technique? He says he loves me AND hates me at the same time. What does that mean? I am nothing but nice to him and I think I've made my feelings clear to him, so it's just hurtful that he does this and thinks it is somehow funny. Am I being too sensitive?

My guy friend and I have been friends for three years and have never been available to date. We were school friends except for sharing 2 after school clubs, no other contact outside of school.

I look back now and realize that he's been slowly making me fall in love with him and I had no idea until it was too late. He told me 2 mos ago that his gf and I were his two favorite people. I was shocked and had no idea I meant that much to him. that made me realize I feel the same way about him and my bf.

He says he and gf both know it's over but don't know what to do now. He only mentions her to me to say how bored and unsatisfied he is with her. He mentions no other girls romantically, except once to joke that he thinks my friend is cute just to make me jealous.

We were teasing each other about how we were going to survive all summer w/o seeing each other every day, so I told him to fb message me and we exchanged phone numbers. He started messaging me more and more so now we write back and forth if the other isn't online and then we jump on ASAP. he never makes me wait for a reply and if he won't be home he tells me. we set up times to chat and talk all day. we've stayed up till 3 and he's started message me first thing when he wakes up. We both said this morning that we weren't awake yet. We've already had fights about my being "greedy" bc I got miffed when I was super tired but was up at 2 just to talk to him and he casually mentions that's he's also talking to gf on the phone while message me and she knew. I think he secretly likes it, though, bc he teases me about it still.

Today he had to go out but told me to text him so we could still talk for nine hours like usual, lol. he's also started talking about sex a lot with me and told me he isn't sleeping with gf.
He found sexts on her phone from another guy.

We talk about everything else, not just sex. today it was about his mom, work, food and blues music. We send each other songs at night.
