there's a girl i would see around school last year. I wanted to talk to her, but i had no balls and didn't actually know how to talk to a girl i was crushing on back then.

So all that i would do is look at her in the hallways and stuff. she caught on cause she started reversing it, being the one who would stare at me and all that.

I asked her out one day. It came out of nowhere, and I was awkward about it. We had never even talked before. She told me she has a boyfriend (i found out later this was a lie) and thats how we left off.

The weird thing was, after I asked her, I would see her staring at me all the time. I guess i think maybe she panicked or was shy and just fell back to the boyfriend excuse. Tbh, i was weird about it and came on way too strong.

Fast forward to this year
I moved on and liked someone else for a while, but it isn't going to work out with her. I think enough time has passed to give it another shot with this girl.

Weve talked once or twice in a group setting this year, and everything has been normal between us. Every now and then I still see her sneaking a look at me or something.

Im a good looking, popular senior guy.
she's a beautiful, popular sophmore girl.

I was going to just approach her one day, make some joke about how she probably thought i was crazy, tell her she's beautiful and I want to "start over" and get to know her. Hopefully get her number or Snapchat

I was also recently friendzoned by a friend of hers (even tho she liked me first) so i was thinking of asking her about this girl i want to talk to

So is it worth a shot to approach her again and how should i go about it? My only problems are not knowing how to approach her (as in what to say, how to act, and how strongly to flirt with her) and the situation with her friend (I dont want her thinking im only using her to get the friend jealous) Im talking to other girls too but i want to do this because i have nothing to lose. I just dont know how to give myself the best possible shot.

To make this easier, i seperated all this into Girl A and Girl B

Girl A :
Liked me last year, i didn't catch on
Once i realized, i liked her back
But i waited too long
First time i asked her out she said she likes me but too busy
Now she told me she likes someone else
Were still friends
She might still have feelings

Girl B :
I liked her a year and a half ago
didn't know how to talk to a girl i like
Randomly approached one day and asked her
(i came off like a creep)
She said she had a boyfriend
I used to see her staring & glancing at me all the time after
I think i suprised her / caught her off guard
Talked to her once or twice since, everything normal
I still see her looking at me sometimes

So here's my situation. I like both girls. I would date either one of them. Im a senior, theyre both 10th g and theyre very good friends.

The way i see it, these are my options:

- Stick with Girl A. play the long game. Dont be too friendly, but keep showing interest and talking to her. I feel like im probably either her backup or she sees me as someone where the spark has gone. I need to get her atrention back.

- Approach Girl B again. Tell her she's beautiful, joke about not being able to talk to girls back then, get her number / snap and start talking. See where it goes.
I don't know about this option because i feel like these girls will think im desperate or trying to "get back" at Girl A.

- Ask Girl A about Girl B. Ask if she's dating anyone or looking for a boyfriend. This way, i show her im not going to wait for her forever. If she still likes me, she will have to say so. If not, she can help me with Girl B.
After talking with Girl A i would start talking to Girl B and see where it goes.

So which option sounds best here for my situation?
