i want a puppy because i love them, theyre playful, loving, and calm

my boyfriend wants a cat, but i dont because im allergic to them and im kinda scared of them because when i was a really young child, a cat jumped on me from a really really tall shelf, landed on my shoulder, dug its claws into my shoulder and cheek because it got scared or whatever, and now there's obvious scars left from this scenario that happened 14 years ago when i was 8. plus he knows im scared and allergic to cats because he knows i sneeze about 30 times in a row and get sick when a cat is around me, but he keeps telling me "just dont go near it then", so i said "but then that'll be a problem because it won't be much fun for me dodging something that im allergic to... and kinda scared of as well" to him

so what do we do because this is turning into a ridiculous, childish, and immature argument and im really sick of it. do we get a puppy which we both like, get a cat so he's "happy" and im not, not get a pet at all, or settle for another pet (please list)?

because we'd like a pet that isn't locked up in a cage, tank, etc and can just run around the whole house and be happy

There's guy in my class that i like (M). He's always nice to me and we're friends but don't talk too much.
His boyfriend from class is really good friend of mine.

He's always nice and smiled when he saw me. Once i came to class without make up and his friend asked me why. I said that i don't have reason (person) to do my make up and he said something in contest like i do.

Week ago M out of blue started to joke with me (good way) and i was really surprised. So day after i asked him over fb to help me and my friend and he said that he would help me. After that we started to lock eyes im class and sometimes smile but he's still distanced from me. He didn't talk to me since than.
One day I was ignoring him but I saw him looking and his friend started to sing a song about girl that fall in love in elevator (i was with my friends and with tham). Next they he looked at me when we were leaving class and i locked eyes with him and he than looked down and smiled. I saw that.

His friend sometimes has that "look" that's something happening but still im confused. What should i think. He won't talk to me.

So I just moved to England (from Canada) to be with my boyfriend. Everything has been just as amazing as it always has been, even better because we're not long distance anymore. But yesterday everything changed... I got up to change a song on his phone and a message from a girl popped up. I've never gone through his phone before but this message was very sexual and I was confused so clicked it. So I open the chat up and firstly see that he's had it locked (I could only see because I clicked the notification) and see my worst nightmare... All these sexual messages and pictures sent between my boyfriend and this girl he had met on the dating app we got (for fun to see our rating) These detailed descriptions of what my boyfriend would do to her in person. It made me nauseous and I ran to the bathroom as I thought I would throw up. I confronted him about it. He said he was sorry and he wouldn't do it again (he deleted the app that moment) but agreed he wouldn't have told me if I didn't find out. Later on I asked him to explain it more and in summary he said:- He was talking to another girl months ago in this way.- He craves the power of making girls want him and liked the rush lying to me gave him, but has never and would never have sex with them, and;- He stopped seeing a girl friend of his because he felt that they might have done stuff if they continued seeing eachother. I feel absolutely disgusted that he did this two times and part of the reason was some sick rush it gave him... I feel dumb and weak and more upset than I could have imagined, I left my job, family, and friends for him... On the other hand, I love him so much, we have plans for the future and besides this, our relationship is very healthy- full of respect, affection, romance, and fun. He said he will do whatever it takes to make it right (even go to counselling) but my trust is broken. I don't just want to stay because it would hurt leaving, but don't want to leave if we can fix this and move on.

So he was guna be somewhere all morning and told me he'd leave the door unlocked. I don't have a car this week cause mine broke down and my brother dropped me off at my bf's place after we went for lunch. I got to the door and it was locked... not guna lie i was pretty pissed. He was super apologetic tho later so he kinda made up for it.

How do you think you would have reacted?
