My boyfriend (a previously divorced man but no kids) is 6 years older than me. We've been dating for 6 months. There were trust issues before. I'm still hurt over what he did.

Several months ago, a couple of his friends try flirting with me, asking me out on dates, etc. I always informed him and suggested him to remove his friends. I used to find it weird that he still had those ''friends''. I would remove any friend that's trying to flirt with my boyfriend behind my back. Then I found out he purposely set it up to see if I would cheat.
He also did a couple other tests, which I was unaware of. According to him, I passed all of them but it doesn't take away how pissed off and hurt I was.

He was amazed upon stumbing on a woman that doesn't cheat (and never did) nor steals valuable items. Why would anyone be impressed over a basic trait of being a good, normal person? Not cheating and not stealing should already be a given. Is it fair that just because he obviously had bad experience with other girls, I deserve this?

My my first boyfriend cheated on me 3 years back ! and things were really really bad for me... but I ended up dating again but still couldn’t resolve my trust issues so I had to break up with my other relationships as well !
Nevertheless for the past 3 years my ex tried to contact me and he kept on saying he regrets hurting me and that he can’t move on because he still loves me... after 6 months of telling him to “leave me alone” I decided to talk to him, we spoke and went on few dates and we actually had a weird ex with benefits sort of a thing yes heat and chemistry was amazing !

Current situation: yesterday he went for a football match and he called me several times literally begging me to come to where he was, but since he was my ex (his friends/ my friends were there and they don’t know that we see each other) and since he was drunk I decided to not to go by giving fake excuses... he got super disappointed and then told me to stop talking to him. Today I called him and he cut the line and replied saying he was serious about telling me to stop talking to him. I apologize for not showing up and I asked him I did something else wrong but all he tells me is... chill chill or no you didn’t do anything wrong. And then he said he will call me but it has been 24hours and he still haven’t called me to tell me why he wanted me to stop talking to him just like that... any thoughts?

P. s He told me he didn’t have feelings for me and that he was finally able to move on! And knowing all that I decided to go and meet him because I wanted to stop hating him after what he did. And actually I did stop dating him... but now again I’m confused upon what he did..
