Search Results: dealing with being hurt

I met my ex while we were at college, and the relationship was perfect for the year and a half we were together. She has a son, so things moved faster than perhaps they should have done, but we never argued and it really felt as though we were forming a little family.

We were both applying to different universities, so we knew that we were going to be dealing with a long distance relationship, but we both thought we could handle it.

Anyway, she moved away and we stayed together for a few months, but things obviously got to much for her and something had to give so she finished it. I totally understand though, being a single parent, working, university, and a long distance relationship is enough to break anybody so I dont begrudge her for it (as much as it hurt)

That was a year ago, and recently we have been talking a lot, either through Skype, texts or on the phone. We have even been out for dinner and went clothes shopping the other day. I deliberately wore the aftershave she liked when we went for dinner and she was super touchy. on top of that, when we went shopping, I was trying on some jeans and she told me to turn around and show her my bum. she then said I looked hot in them. (friends dont do that right?)

she's said she often thinks about me and wants to call me after having a bad day but she never does, even though I have told her I would like that. despite all that, sometimes she just never texts me back... I don't know, maybe she's just busy and forgets?

What do you think? does she have feelings for me, and should I ask her? or am I so deep in the friend zone it seems like its more than it actually is?
