I hate asking questions like this, first time posting here, please be nice :).
Me and my ex met someone on a game but we broke up and the guy we met online was closer to me than him and we carried on talking (he doesn't like my ex for what he's done) and he's been really supportive and sweet. We're so similar too (music, interests, opinions, hobbies, habits etc.)

Is he flirting? (Sorry long list - I appreciate it)
- He always calls me cute/adorable/sweet/cheeky
- Says "Aww so (compliment above)" when I say/do certain things.
- He *hates* ending the call with me, makes up excuses. Says "I have to, but I don't want to! you're too addictive." (talked for 13 hours but he wants to beat that record)
- He called me attractive once and was like "woah! and you think I'm good looking?" when he saw my pics first time.
- Loves teasing me because I get shy when he does then he says "that's even cuter" and laughs.
-Purposely wants a reaction, he likes to make me jump after he unmutes the mic then says "aw" or will say something to panic me for a split second but we both laugh at it after.
- If I get angry at a game he'll say "aww cute aggression!" then when I say "Stop haha" he'll say "Well stop being cute then, actually don't stop, I like it"
- He types actions like "hugs, pats head, bops nose" he's even sent an <3.
- He makes things for me like pictures, gives me stuff online and likes to give me advice and listen.
- He also had a nightmare about me dying, he said he teared up and he messaged me straight away.
- His family tease him and ask questions about me. His brother has a girlfriend she met on a game and he's planning on moving country for her.

But I feel as if he's out of my league, personality and looks wise and he lives in another country his first language isn't English but speaks perfect English. Plus he has a couple other girls on his contact list (friends? family? crushes?)

Would you think its just to show you?

You know she likes you but ignoring you lately..

So there's I guess different perceptions on what guys think a confident girl is, even for girls. When it comes to like social media, taking selfies, posting nice pics of yourself on instagram, etc, do guys like it and think it shows she's confident? Or do guys not like it and think being confident means not having to display yourself a lot online and keeping it low key? It also doesn't have to do with confidence but also personality overall. If a girl doesn't post a lot of herself is that a good thing and consider she's confident? Or would you prefer the girl who is confident enough to post pics of herself and she looks good? These pics are also not too sexy but she just posts a lot of herself. I've heard times when guys do actually like it when a girl displays herself a lot I guess cause its their interpretation of confidence. Then there are guys who prefer the girl who is more to herself, humble, etc. So what do guys prefer in a girlfriend?

To sum things up; my boyfriend is getting increasingly popular on instagram (5k+ atm), he get's comments all the time on his selfies telling him how cute he is, how hot he looks, heart faces, etc. He also talks to people (girls mostly) that message him on there saying he just likes to have friends and thats all they are.

He refuses to post any pictures of us together or anything of that nature saying "It's my thing I have to myself" "I want to be able to post what I want" even going so far as when I put any lovey dovey type of comment on his pics on there he won't respond or he'll say how sweet it was in person or over text message later

In my head I feel like he thinks he won't get as much attention if he lets instagram know he has a girlfriend.

Before he had instagram we were perfect! why does he need those instagram friends now? I feel like all i need is him, I don't talk to men online.. is there something I'm missing here.

I post him on my instagram and tagg him and he leaves it there but gawd forbid I bring up the idea of him posting us on his because it will become an all out guilt trip on me of why he can't just have one thing to himself.

I'll be honest I have insecurities & I hate that he talks to women that are obv interested in him enough to message him. He tells thoughs specific people he has a girlfriend but.. to some girls, that won't stop them. I honestly don't like that he's bonding with other girls that have an interest in something that I don't have as much of an interest in.

Other than instagram our relationship is great, he never talks to thoughs girls when I'm home (we live together) we're in a relationship on FB, and he posts couples pics and sweet posts on my wall, introduced me to his friends, family, takes me out on dates, and we've been together for 4 years

I just don't understand.. if he loves me so much why doesn't he want to show me off on IG.. I know it's silly but.. this whole situat
