Ok guys, I'll try to keep it brief although I feel I need to provide substaintial detail to get a good opinion.

I'm at uni, third year, this has been on my mind since mid-late first year. There is a girl on my course who simply began by getting the same bus on the way home (not just us, group of friends, pretty normal.) She would however stand with me a lot while the others sat down and tended to grab onto me whenever the bus shook. I don't mean like regaining balance, she would maintain that position for a bit even after the event. That didn't seem too weird and at the point I was currently in a relationship so I distanced myself from her. After I broke up with my now ex-girlfriend (long story for another party) we started talking a lot more again. She's been round my house where we watched some movies and I abstained from doing anything as I wasn't given any clear signals and I really didn't want to rush things. She's given me compliments like; "You know you're good looking, you shouldn't have a problem getting someone else." Followed with all the "you're a nice guy." Although those seem unimportant as any girl can tell you that with all sorts of different contexts. There was a time this year in year 2 uni when we were revising and she has bad pains and pulled her chair in front of mine after somebody pointed out I wasn't too bad at massages and asked me to give her one, once again, probably nothing however others offered her before hand and she firmly said no. Now, we have Skyped a few times and during uni we tend to interact with eachother nigh on every day. Her type of character seems to be outgoing and really friendly which probably gives some degree of understanding to her behaviour. She's also left pubs for a breather and had chats with me and I've walked her home a few times.

The reason for the question is because this year, we are lab partners and share every lecture together and I feel if anything was going to happen it'd be now. I feel I need to take the initiative but was wondering if she seemed interested to you.

I would prefer an abstract view too, possibly thinking of other people you know who might act this this purely in a friendly way.

I'm not going to say much because im going to bed,

there's this girl in my school i like, we are almost exactly the same in personality..
we haven't spoken because we are both shy but we have had a couple of glances and smiles at eachother

but there's a few but big differences..
we are different races... i know this isn't bad but I've been rejected and turned down so many times because of my race so im not sure if her family would accept me... i know she doesn't care she has more friends that are my race than her own lol

ok, so its a long story... but the highlights are:

-one time, a guy and a superior female work together. at the end of the assignment, the woman says to the guy that, ''im getting old''. she says this about herself.

-months later, the woman asks the same guy because he's nearby to shred some documnets that had her personal info on them... such as home address, social security number, everything of her personal info...

-long story short, he did not shred them. shredders were jammed, he got assgined to something else, he takes copies home with him. doesn't have a shredder at home, the thought of burning them did not cross his mind, he decides to write her a letter aplogizing for not shredding them, and at the end of the letter saying that if he had to guess her age, he would say she is so and so... even though she's really not, but he's trying to make her feel better about herself. the guy and woman only see eachother once a month.

-the month goes by, no response from her. the folowing month, the woman shows all signs of interest in the guy. this happens for 6 months. she hovering around him, walking in his line of sight, comnstantly trying to get his attention. the guy tried talking to her once before to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding with the letter, she yells at him infront of the whole work place, makes a scene.2 months later she wants to act like everyhting is good, the guy ignores her and long story short, the 2 are going back and fourth, not arguing but just being rude to one another for 6 staright months.

-after 6 months of the guy trying to talk things out with her, and she won't let him because she's being rude and dismissive because he ignored her. the guy decides to write her another letter saying everyhting he had to say to her... including that he likes her, and just him being humble and modest... he puts his guard down and tells her personal things. long story short. she reports the letter and the whole work place finds out about the le
