I was a chubby child and this continued onto a majority of high school. I eventually began to grow into my figure although I was still on the thick side. People told me I was pretty but I feel as if I was being lied to. Considering I didn’t get much attention from guys compared to other people I knew.

Now that I’ve lost weight but am still considered thick, I still don’t get much attention from guys. Sometimes, people seem shocked when I tell them I don’t have a boyfriend and they presume I am picky. Not to mention, I’m in college.

Why do all the girls around me get attention but me? Are they really prettier? Have people been lying to me about my physical appearance? Hence physical appearance plays a significant role in how your dating life goes.

Realistically, am I ugly and fat?

I’m 16. So this guy i was childhood friends with, has a daughter with another girl. He turns 18 on August 9th. His daughter was born in May. The mom is not involved because she doesn’t want to be a parent and pretty much said that the guy can have the daughter and she wants nothing to do with the daughter. They haven’t spoke since the end of May. I grew up an only child and have never babysat and I’m not really around children. I have no idea how to take care of a baby or kids in general. I don’t really want kids. He lives at home with his mom and his mom helps him with the baby. He’s a really good dad. I’m just wondering if I should go out with him and become boyfriend and girlfriend or just stay friends.

I broke up with him and never went back to my hometown after. But I always thought of him and missed him. We started dating new people, but we always found an excuse to message each other. I know he still loves me, and I know I still love him.

The only issue is that I am in a relationship and so is he. My current boyfriend and I, we're long distance and I don't see us getting back together again. I asked him where are we going, like what are we right now? He says right now we're "coasting" "why ask questions" but I can't coast for a year while we're apart, and I just don't see him as the father of my children.

I will not ask my ex to break up with his new girlfriend for me. But would it be stupid to break up with my boyfriend and make it known on social media that I'm single and back in town? (we are friends on a few social media sites) This is the only way I know how to get him back.

I know I want him, I want us to try again. To try it older and hopefully wiser. We had this beautiful connection, everyone around us knew it was the real deal. We both still love each other so much, and we were so close to marriage and living together. I don't want a mistake to take him out of my life forever. In a way, I think he's my soul mate. Someone I could love forever and build a life with.
