So I am 23 years old I have been dating this guy for about a year now he is 38 years old. When we first met he was a little distant and cold. But as time has gone on he has opened up a lot. People say that he is my sugar daddy but I dont look at him like that. We go out spend a lot of time together we go to the movies out to dinner bowling we go to gameworks we wrestle talk about damn near everything he treats me right he has never called me out my name or belittled me not once he is a gentlemen it never fails our sex life is one of the greatest and it never gets old weird but it doesn't. We cuddle together sleep together share ideas and stories. Recently he told me that when we got our lifes in order and saved up enough money he would like to plan for a baby which really shocked me because when we first got together he said he didn't EVER want anymore kids he has two and I have one. He has a good job and so do I. I haven't met any of his friends or family yet but I know they know about me. We have never been to a party together, or a get together which confuses me because he always gets invited to one but he never has asked me to join him. We spend damn near everyday together so I know he doesn't have another girlfriend or a wife. he's always omes over and spends the night. He works six days a week I work five days a week sometimes even seven but after work we always are together so I dont get it. Why is he with me we haven't moved in together even tho he has his own set of keys to my apartment which I gave to him he never asked. Is he just taking it slow and letting us go day by day or am I just the here and now. He said in August he has something special planned but has yet to tell me what it is. What is his motive is this sincere and should I just continue to follow

Here's what me and my dad have been arguing about for the past week.

I have a friend that's 18. I've known him for about 5 months now. He's a great person and an even better influence on me. He's like someone I look up to, a role model.
1 - He got me to start doing my chores. Because I saw him doing his chores and dishes and such and I wanted to do as he did.
2 - He got me to start doing my homework. He told me that if I did it, I'd be successful.
3 - He got me to stop being so sad and feeling so "bad" about myself.
4 - He's really nice, and he gives me advice on life for when I turn 18.

Now, my dad recently just made a random decision that this 18 year old shouldn't be able to spend the night and I shouldn't be able to spend the night at his house. (I'm 15 by the way). He just recently changed his mind..and I don't know why, because he was letting us spend the night at each other's houses for 4 months. I have no idea what he thinks is going to happen. We sleep in different beds, and we're going to be SLEEPING. What could possibly happen? Is he going to sleep rape me? NO. My friend isn't like that. I have a boyfriend, and he has a girlfriend. We just like hanging out with each other because it's fun, and like I said. He's a wonderful person and he's like a best friend to me. Nothing more.

What's your opinion on this situation? Should we be able to spend the night at each other's house?

I have gone on 4 dates with this guy. The last date we went on was 2 weeks ago on Saturday. We went to a movie. We had good conversation in the car on the way there and back. The night ended with us kissing/making out in his car.

Last week we text a little bit (He is not big into being on his phone and texting) I asked him last weekend if he wanted to get together on Saturday night but he said that his family had made quite a few plans for him so he didn't think that last weekend was going to work to get together. We text a bit this week but he had a job interview out of town.

I text him last night saying "Hey you, whatcha up to?" And got no response whatsoever. It is really odd because normally he is quick to respond to my text and has always responded any other time. I never said anymore after he didn't respond.

The background about this guy is he is super shy and never had a girlfriend ever. He is 27 years old and his guy friends warned me that he doesn't know how to talk to a girl. I've tried to make it easy on him by not having to have him do any work. I'm not playing any games or playing hard to get. I asked him last time we were together if I annoy him by texting him during the week but he said no that he just doesn't have much to talk about. He is the one who approached me to start talking to me. He also invited me out for drinks with him to begin with.

This is driving me nuts. How do I know if he is still interested when he is so introverted and shy? I am a bit shy myself but I have done everything possible to put myself out there without looking desperate.

I have other guys who would like to take me on dates but I don't want to ruin it if I have a chance with this guy.

Wouldn't he respond or contact me this weekend if he is interested? Our schedules only allow for us to hang on the weekends if at all.
