Search Results: shy when it comes to approaching guys

This might be long but I'm only trying to paint a picture for you :)

I'm taking a year of school before I go to college and I thought

while I'm working I could upgrade some of my marks at nightschool. So now I'm going to this different school far from my house, I really don't know anyone except a couple people from class. I met this girl on the first day, our class did one of those "get to know each other" type things where we interviewed each other so I already know where she's from, where she works and all that small talk.

I noticed she walks around alone during break time or with another girl and I'm the same, I walk around alone or a friend from class.

I also noticed we take the same bus together which is a 40-60 minute ride and get off at the same stop where she takes a bus going one direction while I go opposite.

The other day I sat next to her in the bus shelter and wanted to say something but noticed she had her headphones on and was into the song, she was also on her phone texting. I wanted to say something but couldn't I don't know why, it's unlike me to not at least try to talk to a cute girl lol. It would have been awkward if neither of us were on our phones and ipods.

Our eyes meet several times every class/bus ride.

I don't know why this is so hard, could it be that I'm still hung up on the one that got away? (the previous girl)

I just wanna be friends for now but it's hard when no one says a thing. I can tell she wants to say something but stops and I'm sure she can tell the same about me.

She comes off as shy and so do I at first but once I get to know someone I become very outgoing and relaxed.

So what's a guy to do? my mind says speak but my mouth won't move.
