Ah life. They say life has its up and downs. Indeed. Dramatic ups and downs. I went through a time where the line on my graph of life's joy in life was flat like my best friends heartbeat. For years. However, I've now noticed a disturbing pattern.

So say your line starts at the bottom. Over about 6 months, the line steady inclines. Everything is working out, you have amazing friends, new job opportunities, college is going well, a relationship is budding, everything seems to be working out! It never actually fully works out but indeed it looks like it will! Almost there!!! But at the end of that 6 months, it flatlines. For whatever reason, your friends have... other friends they'd rather hang out with. You never got a call about that job you worked so hard for. You fail a class. The guy who said he cared about you ghosts. Because of all this, gossip spreads about you. Now, nothing is going right. Your heart is broken and you start back at square one. A few weeks go by and, things begin to be looking better. You meet new people, new opportunities, etc. Then the cycle repeats at the end of another 6 months.

I started taking a dance class and there's a guy there and we spoke not too much during class other than him asking to go over some of the steps with me and we did and again when I said thanks for not being such a jerk as other people I've worked with in the past about a particular slip up I keep making and he agreed about it. Another day, we were both stretching before class and he made it obvious that he was checking me out when he said "mm hm" while smiling at me and I asked him about it and he said something like "your body..." then I looked at him and then he said that he was going to be dancing with me so he wanted to make sure I was stretched out enough ( or something to that effect... I kind of blocked out as much as I could) (but I keep thinking that maybe he was just goofing around) and then he got next to me and just started asking me some questions about what I like to do for fun and just some general things about me. Then he was rather helpful at dancing (although I'm reluctant to count this because he probably just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't step on his feet) also, he usually placing my hands where they need to be (I'm reluctant to count this since he does this with everybody, but I feel like I was already where they needed to be and he held them longer than nessacary). And there were small things like (I think) I caught him checking me out a couple times and he always asks if I need someone to walk me home (I live down the street from class, but class is over at nighttime) so it's like "are you trying to get a romantic moment with me bro?" But I'm willing to think that he was being nice and would be willing to do it with anybody.

I don't want him to like me/be lusting after me because I don't really want a relationship. I'm worried because the second week of my cycle is coming up and my pheromones will be filling the air and he might really be hot on me during that time! Does he sound like he's interested? Should I be worried?

I've had guys that I've spoken to and that I'm on good terms with suddenly begin flirting with me by making rather sexual remarks. There was a guy in my dance class that made it rather obvious that he was checking me out while I was stretching by saying "mm hm" while smiling and I asked him what that meant and he said "your body"... yeah... and then he just started up a rather pleasant conversation with me (so that made me think he was joking around earlier) but I think guys flirt as a joke (at least I know that girls do) and I thought that guy was gay until (I think) I caught him checking me out a couple of other times. So do you guys flirt with girls as a joke? I'm asking because I don't want a relationship and since week 2 of my cycle is coming up and I'm going to be really sweaty in that dance class my pheromones will be all over the place. Should I be worried about him or not? I wouldn't mind being friends, but I don't want him thinking of me like that (at least for now because who knows?) what do you think?

My friend is an abusive relationship, she claims he doesn’t hit her anymore but at the time she didn’t feel like she could leave and was trying to make a way out and had a kinda affair with another guy. She says the abuser is being nice to her now ( which is the abuse cycle) yet she keeps the guy around as a safe haven. He said he doesn’t think she’s a slut for this. She feels scared that she is but is terrified for her life sometimes, or at least has a false imagination of danger all the time since her boyfriend use to beat
her pretty badly. She doesn’t do anything with this guy except. Hang out with him sometimes. Do would u think she was a slut? Would u keep talking to her?
