Many people want men to be able to veto their partners' abortions.

If that's the case, then I personally think that the man should have to pay the woman the cost of surrogacy (which is about $50,000) + whatever $ is necessary to cover her bills for therapy to recover from the psychological trauma of being forced to give birth when she doesn't want to.

At the very least, the man should have to pay the bills for whatever extra expenses are necessary for the pregnancy and birth (hospital bills, money for the extra food necessary, etc), because it's harder for women to work during pregnancy.

What do you think should be required of a man, who's vetoing an abortion?

My old co-worker's husband had an affair for an entire year. His mistress got pregnant and had an abortion. Devastated, my co-worker said she broke down and told their (they had mutual friends) about it, and she said each of them admitted that for the majority of that year, they knew about the affair and a few knew about the mistresses pregnancy and didn't tell her!

Could you still remain good friends after that? How? Why?

i was thinking how men have no decisions when it comes to abortion, and yet they are often required to pay child support. Should men be able to opt out of a pregnancy situation by either supporting abortion / adoption and avoiding child support? Or do you think women should be able to make all the decisions and still expect men to pay child support?

if a women wants to abort a baby or put it up for adoption, should a man have any say in the matter?

it does not seem fair to me to give women all the choices while requiring all the men to bear the responsibility of those choices.

I would like to see many different answers/perspectives as this discussion revolves around whether or not abortion should be a legal option for terminating pregnancies that do not involve rape, incest, or when a mother’s life is in danger.
