I was dating a girl many years ago. She and I were using condoms during sex and one night I was in the shower when she came in and sat next to the shower until I got out. We talked for a while and then she told me she was pregnant. I was shocked, because I did not want to have another kid at the time, and certainly not with her. She didn't drive, didn't have a job, so I began to wonder how it happened and how she knew she was pregnant. I started to notice little parts of her story were beginning to unravel. She said she had poked holes in the condoms to get pregnant on purpose. I was sure I would have noticed that. I then asked how she found out she was pregnant when she couldn't drive to a store to get a test. She said she shoplifted a test while we were at the store a few days before and it showed positive. She let this go on for 3 hours, until the wee hours of the morning before admitting it was an April Fool's joke. The reason she sat in the bathroom talking to me was she was watching the clock, waiting for it to turn April 1st before springing the "news" on me. So, would you consider this a cruel prank or a good April Fool's joke?
