So as we all know, Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad ordered and carried out a chemical weapons attack on his own people and has killed over 100,000 people since 2011. United States President Barack Obama has always called former U.S. President George W. Bush a "war-monger" and was steadfast in his mission of peace throughout the world. But, on multiple occasions he's said that chemical weapons were the "red-line" that cannot be crossed and there would be a U.S. military response if one unfolded. Assad carried one out and it was ignored, and now the 2nd one has happened and the world is still waiting for action.

So today the U.N security council met regarding what needs to take place about this use of chemical weapons and how to respond. Syria, Jordan, and Russia said they are opposed to the attack and Iran now stepped up claiming to take out U.S. interests in the Middle East and attack Israel as a result. Our next closest allied nation after Israel, England, has said don't attack earlier today.

So what does Obama do? Is it going to be another broken promise from his administration and another hit to his credibility? Is he going to ignore the U.N. Security Council request for no attack and do what he wants? What will come of this as a result? Attacking Syria will undoubtedly lead to a World War Three scenario and a polarization of our world allies.
