There is something I don’t get and maybe you can enlighten me on this.
I had a non-commited relationship with a guy for two years, on and off. I rejected him when we first met but we became intimate. He never cut me off his life and I never did. I felt madly in love with him but never told him. I though he cared about me, but I don’t get his behaviour.

Everytime he finds a new girl, he rubs his new relationship in my face. I’m the first he tells about it like « I always tell you everything so you have to know I’m in love with this girl ». Then we fight, take some distance. He posts pics of his new girl while he never posts anything. He refuses to follow me back on ig while he follows a lot of girls he doesn’t care about. He mentions the girl he is with in purpose, when it’s not meant to be.

Exemple : we were closed to date / commit both of us, he announced me he was in love with his best friend. It’s been like three weeks they date I guess. Yesterday I reacted to his story and immediately he changed his profile pic with a pic of him and her (that dates back a month ago when they were still friends..)

He told me I’m his ex but we have never been official. All his relationships last a month, I’m afraid this one is real.
Can we consider he acts like an ex in rebound relationships? Is he doing all this to make me jealous but why, since he never asked me to be his girlfriend?

Do you wait until either you ask them or they ask you to be committed?
Or do you just believe them to be you’re boyfriend/girlfriend after a few months of dating consistently and with just each other?

Personally, I prefer it to be said/up front.

I met my boyfriend online 1 year ago in a game. We've been really close and with him it just feels right as were the same. Really fast after starting to be more of just friends we started talking about dreams, life goals, what we want in life and we realized that we want the same things in the same time frame and that we picture doing those things with eachother without even thinking that it might fail. The thing is we're from different countries. We met irl a month ago and we had the best time ever. With him it just fealth right like this is the person and he shared the same feelings. After he went back home he won't stop talking about marriage and kids and a house and planning all those things. As much as i would love to have those things with him and as much as i feel that this really is the perfect person for me i can't stop worrying if were not moving too fast. We're both at an age perfect for settling down and kids, we share the same interests like games, football, cars, crafts, hiking, fishing and so on and were both really opened to learning new things from eachother and exploring new interests and things to do together. He's a real teddy bear when it comes to a relationship and really is an amazing person and all of our friends fully support us and push us to make it official. What do you think? Is it too fast or should we give it a try?

Just taking a pole. My friends and I were discussing how texting and online dating has changed the way we date. Our parents and old wisdom says for the girl to wait for the guy to call and the guy does all the work until they’re in an official relationship. The girl plays hard to get and not interested so as not to scare the guy away and to make her appear she has a lot of options. Meanwhile I noticed the younger generation 15-28 year olds seem to think and sometimes expect the girl to make moves or at least text the guy first just to say hi

Out of curiosity after how many dates do you EXPECT not want but expect to be hearing from the girl too. Provide examples of when it worked out or if you were turned off etc. Thanks :)
