I had this huge crush on this girl for like 3 years now. We were in the same coaching and the day I saw her , I fell for her. I was always afraid to talk to her (only afraid of her ). Last year my female bestie texted her in which she told my crush how I felt for her and how crazy I was for her. To my surpise my crush was really happy and the next thing I knew was that she texted me for the first time and since then we talked for like a whole year. She used to look into my eyes and used to feel a connection with her spiritually.5 days ago , I confessed my feelings to her on insta I told her everything (even that I am seeing her in my dreams) I thought she would either say a yes or no, but she just left me on read. After 10 mins of her keeping me on read she deactivated her account. 3 days ago she came back. She still hasn't replied to my confession. She is one of those girls who would straight away reject a guy if she isn't interested. I don't know why she is acting like this. I waited a whole year to propose to her because both of us were having our medical exams ( which both of us didn't to quite well) . Is this because her exam didn't go that well or is there something else? Please help me people
P. s - She and I have such deep pure eye contacts (you know where you feel connected from inside)

Im a senior and she is a sophmore

I have one class with her, an art class, and we always talk and joke around with each other. Half the time were arguing about the dumbest things, but it always happens in a nice and fun sort of way.

We like to pretend that we hate each other, and were always making fun of each other in a joking manner. She always looks me in the eye when talking and she laughs at a lot of the dumb jokes i make. When i see her in the hallways she will either say hi or look quickly towards me once or twice.

We tease each other a lot about random stuff when in a group of people, but we talk alone sometimes in the halls and through text. She will always laugh and jokingly call me annoying or something and we have a lot of inside jokes together.

My friends have made jokes about her liking me before and she will go red and change the subject or avoid the question. Another guy had already asked her to prom actually, but she said turned him down (she said her parents would not let her)

Then I asked her to prom. She said yes and she really seems happy about it. We still joke around and tease each other, but weve talked a lot more in the past few days and she always seems happy to be around me and having fun.

She starts conversations, makes eye contact (sometimes just randomly) and laughs at everything i say. If i call her out on staring at me or laughing a lot she goes red and starts laughing. I want to start hanging out with her more.

Weve started to hang out outside of school sometimes. We haven't dont anything alone yet but she always makes sure she is able to join in our group outings and she always seems focused on me (talks to me more, goes where i go, always tries to sit next to me)

All our friends are joking about it and teasing us of course. My question is does it sound like she is just looking for a good time or a reason to go to senior prom or does she feel the same way? Is she starting to like me?
