Before I get started, no sexism or hate.

Anyways, freshman year of high school my coach told us that "women are distractions". At first I was confused to its meaning, but now I understand. A lot of the guys on the team were thinking with their other head. They would sleep around too much or concentrate on spending time/impressing girls instead of focusing on other things. During high school I thought having a girl friend was the thing I needed the most, now I realize that it isn't that important at all. With sports, college level classes, preparing for college and the daily f***ings life gives I am too busy to even care for a girlfriend. I have too much to worry about with myself already. Also, girls can literally cause you to derail very easy. Guys will sometimes drop everything we are doing to chase/impress/talk/bang women in a heartbeat.

I guess from a female perspective, some girls do EVERYTHING with their boyfriend and only will talk about him. A lot of girls complain about their friends abandoning them once they get a boyfriend or putting him first.

To conclude, do you agree that the opposite sex can be distractions?

I've only interacted with this girl a COUPLE of times(she just got a job at my work), both times she was just friendly... now she's acting way different with me! So unless she gets super attached to new "Friends" I think she is hitting on me. We're all 20 years old btw

-Stands sorta close, makes steady eye contact, smiles when talking to me. Even noticed a small detail about me (my glasses slightly dirty haha)

-Always happy to see me, did the classic "tap shoulder and walk other way" trick on me, once jokingly stared me down from a distance

-Does ask me questions relating to the convo, continues texting conversation even after I give a "closed response" (EX: "haha nice").

-While messaging on fb she said "Why are we still Facebooking!? Here's my #". Also she asked the last time I had a gf? I don't know if that means anything lol.

-Texted me today while she was working(I was there too) "come visit me back here"

Now the two biggest things:

1: After telling me her friend wasn't interested in me "Don't worry you'll find a girl. Also if I wasn't dating (boyfriends name) I'd totally date you because I love Psychology majors" (I'm a psych major lol)

2: While she was hanging with her boyfriend(again, my best friend, and he knows we were texting and trusts ME completely) she randomly was asking if I was a virgin, asked why I was still a virgin and said sex is great.

-she then said (after I jokingly called her weird for asking) "im not weird I'm just an open person and like sex!" I then replied " I'm open and honest too! ehhhh shut up :p" and she replies "no I wont. am I too much for you to handle?" (idk if she means that in a way as in I can't handle her sex drive, or handle talking to her?)

-Rest of the convo was her complaining that I teased her that I'm avoiding her work area the next day lol

This all occured within a couple days btw.
