I'm very confused. I've been dating this guy for about two months (although we've only seen each other about once a week, we've both been travelling on weekends and are busy). We had a fantastic weekend. We hung out by the pool, he took me out to dinner, and we hung out with my friends. We do have sex, but that's definitely not what our interactions revolve around, and it doesn't happen every time.

On Sunday, after spending the day with my friends, he seemingly randomly told me that he has so much respect for me but doesn't want to hurt me and wanted me to know that he's not looking for anything serious right now. I was kind of thrown off and thought he meant he wasn't looking for anything serious EVER with me, but then he mentioned that he felt it was 'too soon' and that we haven't actually hung out that much. I agreed that it's too soon so put a label on anything, we like each other but we're still getting to know each other. He left because he already had plans with his friend and then said he'd come back if I was up to hanging out. He ended up not coming back because my stomach went sour. The next day I asked him if he wanted to go to the gym with me and he said yes, so we went and he just seemed kinda nervous around me, and then when we were leaving he invited me to get a smoothie so we did.

It's not completely abnormal for us to not text every day, but it feels off after that weird conversation. I haven't heard from him since Monday. There's a possibilty he's not texting because he knows I had a couple exams this week, but I'm not really the type of person to stop talking to someone when I'm busy.

Also, thought I'd add, I've also met his friends and he regularly asks about mine and really likes them.

Thoughts on this? I have this sinking feeling he's going to ghost because it's happened to me before.

Sorry about the confusion. Anyways, I’m 23 my little sister isn’t 18 and she’s the attractive one. She’s gotten attention her whole life and I’ve only recently started getting noticed. Four months ago we met this guy through a friend and both of us were attracted to him. He showed more interest in me which pissed off my sister. He told me that he liked both of us. She started flirting with him and his attention diverted away from me to her. I ended up leaving the state a few days later to go back to uni and not long after the two of them started hooking up. She said it was a no strings attached thing cause he was seeing someone on and off. Anyways, they haven’t seen each other in a month. They broke their hooking up thing off cause my sis started feeling guilty that he has a girlfriend and now she’s seeing someone. I’m back and he contacted me. One thing lead to another and we had sex, it was hot, he kept saying I’m better and all ( I know I shouldn’t but I found it hot) when my sis found out about our hookup she lost her temper. And told me I’m pathetic that I always take her seconds. In front of our mom she said that all the guys like her and when she drops them they crawl to me and that I’m so desperate that I accept them knowing that they didn’t want me at first. She got really angry. Then she forwarded me messages that he sent her last night, begging to see her and asking her why she dropped him. Now I feel like an idiot. We had sex three nights ago and all day today he’s been texting her. She’s been ignoring him. I’m so confused. He told me he liked me and all. What’s your opinion? Sorry for the long paragraph
