I have been dating this guy for a few weeks now and during our third date he told me he lied about his age on his online profile and to me in person as well. I was pretty upset because I really liked him a lot, and I know he is extremely into me as well, which is why he told me the truth.

Because I was pretty upset, I went back to dating other guys. I went on one date, just to realize how much I actually really liked the other guy and that I was ready to forgive. We met, made up, and I told him about my date. Surprisingly he said that freedom is by far the most important thing for him in a relationship, and that since we are not committed to each other, I am free to do whatever I want. He added that he has 0 desire to date other girls because he thinks I am just simply one of the most wonderful things that has happened to him for a long time.

Some background info: both of his ex girlfriends (>4 years) cheated on him for very long periods of time and it left him heartbroken. He said he's afraid of his feelings for me.

Summary: he is a very romantic guy who says he likes me, but does not care if I go on dates with other guys because 'freedom matters to him' and 'we are not committed to one another'. Does he even like me at all?

so me and my boyfriend made plans yesterday to go watch a movie tonight after we both have work
but then he called me and said "babe i have to do a night shift at work. my boss begged me to do it so can't go tonight. there's an outbreak and no staff so gotta do it"
(btw he works in an aged facility - nursing home and he works from morning till after noon)
and then i got pissed off and said "wth.. are u sure ur not lying?"
and he said "why would i lie? im just going to work again"
and i didn't say anything
and he goes "we can go saturday? u dont have plans right?"
and i go "yes i do have plans already.." (i lied... i was pissed off so i just lied to him)
and he said "really? so ur going out Friday and Saturday nights? i dont know why u always go out.. oh well not my business.. i dont care. if you're not free then i will watch movie by myself coz i wanna watch this movie. i will watch it tomoro because my boss gives me day off since im working tonight till morning. if you cancelled ur plans or whatever let me know before.. i dont know why ur pissed off at me. i seriously have work tonight. dont put your bullshit on me."
and then we hanged up
am i wrong to be upset with him?
do u think it may be lies?
and do u think he really doesn't really care if i go out both nights with my friends?

he was 14 going to be a freshman.

i didn't know he was 14 when we first kissed. He looks older, I thought he was 16 or 17. Plus the place we were is 15+ only. so he lied about his age to get in.

but we kissed again even when I knew he was 14. Is that too gross? :/

So generally, I'm not sure if I'm that good at knowing if guys like me or not, so I was just curious about how my thoughts compare to those of others. Anyways, so I'm a competitive swimmer and recently there was a training camp for a big meet. So there was this guy that joined this year but I haven't spoken much to because he is in a lower class. However, camp is less segregated so we saw each other a lot more. I wasn't that friendly with him before, but during the camp, he starting talking with me a lot more and making jokes and all. He starting following me on instagram. And then one time during the lunch break, one of my friends stole my phone and he got up and helped me chase her down to get it back (I didn't ask him to help, he just did). I feel like that is sort of a kind of protective, show off, hero type thing guys try to do when they like a girl. Over camp, I just started getting the feeling that he liked me. But then at the end of camp I learned that A. he has a girlfriend (of a month at that time), and B. he actually a few years younger than me (he's 13 and I'm 16 (also I know my profile says I'm 18, but I lied there)). I mean he's still in middle school and I'm in high school so that's a big gap at our age and he seems to really like his girlfriend. But then again, middle school relationships aren't really that serious. I don't know. So, does it sound like he liked me or was I way off?
