These are some of the things most of us grow up hearing. We hear them in school, from our family, from our friends, from strangers on the internet (:-P G@Gers)... everywhere.
I was also thinking about some of the advice I've received, over the years, about knowing when to quit. Knowing when the tenacity isn't fruitful anymore, and is actually more damage than anything else.
This could apply to anything in life; relationships, friendships, family, careers, education, etc.

So which is it... or is it both?
Do you feel that knowing when to quit is just as important as being tenacious?
Why or why not?
