These days, it always seems like people rush to start a family. I know people who are already 21, but they are either married or have kids with their bf/gf... and then become single parents -_-

Ideally, for me, I want to start my family when I am in my 30s (30 at youngest). I just got out of college, and I feel like I haven't really lived my life.

-I want to be able to buy what I want for a bit.

-Buy a Camaro and customize it to my liking.

-Travel a bit.

-Date around a bit and meet people.

-And just meet someone who is down to getting to know me without rushing things.

Starting a family is not a fun and easy thing. I feel like the older you are, the more responsible and mature you will be when you have your first child... and the more knowledge you will have about life in general.

In addition to that, I feel like being financially strapped (hence waiting to 30) would be beneficial. You can't really give your child everything when you are a young parent. When you are older and have things in order, you don't have to struggle much, you can buy your kids things and give your kid a better life if you have a better financial situation.

I also want to know a girl for a long time to see if we are compatible. I don't want to raise a child as a single father. I think that have two parents together and in the picture makes for a better life for a child.

That's just my two cents. I am 23 right now... but I would want to start a family in my early to mid 30s, if possible. Just live life first and then have a family.

There has been a girl in my life that I have really liked for two years now, she's a year younger than me so I was a freshman in highschool while she did her own thing in 8th grade. The year before that when I was in 8th Grade her and I were best friends and at the end of the schoolyear she admitted liking me... but the schoolyear I went to highschool she basically stopped talking to me. I later found out it was because she was busy most of the time but anyways I started admitting to her that I like her but I found out she liked someone in her grade. I decided to try to move on multiple times but I couldn't. Her and I are friends now but she probably thinks her and I are just friends... but when I talk to her it seems like she flirts with me and she just gives me a lot of common signals when it comes to girls liking guys. I asked her recently who she liked and she said no one... I think she likes me. Next year she'll be a freshman and I'll be a sophomore, if I want to make things last, what should I do next to keep things going the way they should? I have a problem with admitting to a girl I like her because I always seem to mess things up. This girl has put up with a lot of stupid things I have done to embarass myself and she forgives me everytime. When I am not at church, she asks my family and others where I am. She likes to talk about the year her and I went to the same school together and memories... is there a good chance she likes me? She says she likes no one but I hope that's a lie.
