I'm just wondering. There's this 33 year old woman that I've met. She's a very sweet woman with a very fun side in her (she skydives, plays video games, plays sports, ziplines and all of the fun adrenaline stuffs). She also has a good sense of humor. The problems with me even giving this a shot is that one, we're too far apart from our age difference (13 years apart). Two, she's a single mother of 3 kids (I have absolutely nothing against single moms but I don't know if I'm ready to be a stepdad just yet or if her kids would even tolerate me) and three, I don't know if my level of sense of humor would be good enough to her since she adores a guy with a good sense of humor.

Despite our huge age difference, we still have a lot of common interests (we both enjoy video games and doing crazy things), she looks MUCH younger than her age (she looks more like she's 21 than 33 years olds) and she doesn't really act her age either, lol (not saying that she's immature but she acts just a tad younger than her actual age). Along with that, out of the rest of the girls that I've previously dated and just hung around with who are in my age group, none of them seem to be right for me nor gave me a happy relationship experience. Oddly, it seems as though all of the right women for me are older women (from age 24-33) based on our maturity levels and overall personalities.

What do you GAGers think?

I'm curious how many women out there are open to dating a man who is 3-5 years younger. Not just something short term for fun (not that long term relationships aren't fun, they are!) but would you consider a man who is 3-5 years younger for a long-term relationship and marriage if he was the right guy? Or would his age be a dealbreaker for you?

Of course, younger guys have less life experience and are more likely to be immature, but assuming the guy has the same traits and maturity you look for in men who are 3-5 years older than you, would his age matter to you?

I keep seeing these 18-21 year olds complaining that their 14-16 year old SO cheated on them.. I am not saying that cheating is right, but if you want maturity and faithfulness don't you think you should date someone older, your own age who's more mature? Not some kid who is filled with hormones? Who agrees with me?

Sometimes i log on and read some questions and opinions and i look at their age and i think "man did you live under a rock for your whole life? Some people on here however are on the opposite end of the spectrum providing abswers and asking questions far beyond their ages average maturity. What do y'all think?

I'm just wondering right now. God forbid you accidently slip out a remark about a woman's age by how she appears. It's impossible to say ask how a woman's doing, giving her an honest remark about how she's currently looking such as telling her that she looks exhausted without her throwing a bitch fit about it and then jump to the conclusion that I'm implying that she looks like shit, believing that I'm using the word "exhausted" in a negative connotation. Even older women in their 30s and 40s lack the certain amount of maturity to keep their emotions stable.

In all honesty, I don't know how the hell the majority of other men are able to put up with trying so hard not to hurt their feelings. It's not like my intentions were to ever offend anyone but just speak a small part of my mind.
