Search Results: questions to ask, conversation, flirting

long story short, i contacted this guy I had seen at a party through fb, he had came up to me at the party and asked a question. Any way the party was nearly two months ago and he remembered me after sending him a picture. He seemed t try to flirt with a smiley that winks but asked no question;
anyway I pursued the conversation and said we hadn't managed to talk and he added that it was right, since I was part of a closed group.
So far, I thought this was somehow positive, but then I replied that we might not have realized it and he read my answer but didn't reply. I waited two days then sent another short message that clarified what I had said, that it was too bad we couldn't talk especially since I had seen him with some of my friends , but that maybe i was wrong?

and he read it and still ignored me.

So my question is pretty simple, if the guy is not interested why say he remembers? is it because he felt flattered at first? I mean I don't get this turning around.
Maybe i should just wait around, but usually he replies as soon as he reads it

Can some guy please be kind enough to enlighten me?
