Search Results: screwing up a relationship

So I messaged this girl on Facebook a few months ago, and asked if she wanted to hang out. I didn't have a car, and neither did she. I told her we could just wait until I can get one. That was in about January, and I probably can't get a car until May. I really like the girl, but I feel like I should have just waited until I was stable to look for a relationship, and ruined it waiting too long. We don't talk as much, it's kind of awkward, and she tells me she's too shy to call when I ask if she wants to voice call. I kind of think I should just give up and try dating someone else. So my question is, do you think I screwed up any potential relationship asking too early, or am I just being paranoid and it won't end up being a problem?

1. I was dating this girl for some time. I didn't want a relationship but nevertheless I had fallen for her, hard. She didn't like the fact that I was seeing other girls so she asked for exclusivity. I declined. So she decided to move on and broke my heart.

2. After some time of trying to get her back she started being friendly towards me again but showed no signs of wanting to be with me anymore and I felt betrayed. I was talking to other girls on the side so I told her if I can't have a relationship with her I'm gonna be with one of the other girls. She told me she ain't stopping me and she won't get involved in any drama and again she walked away. Leaving me pissed off and sad. I know she's into me so wtf!

I know I screwed up the first chance, but what about the second, which one of us would you say is acting stupid here?
