Everyone meets their loved one in different ways but these are the most common, Which has worked best for you/gotten you the best results in the past when you actually met someone that became a relationship?

Personally I think Being set up, and using dating sites creates a level of expectation in people that if this person dosen't blow you away in the first few seconds than he's not worth your time or causes you to instantly devalue a person before you even meet them based on a single line of text on a screen. On the other hand starting as friends I think creates a better bond because you've been hanging out and getting to know that person with out the pressure of trying to look good. You see their quirks and yet still like them. Hunting for someone in clubs and other random spots might be a mixed bag filled with both forever diamonds and huge lumps of coal that are just out for one night stands.

...But that's just my impression, what works for you, and why do you think it did?
