In July I split from my long-term girlfriend who I was madly in love with and am currently heartbroken and not over her yet.

For the last month I've met a girl at my gym who has been giving me strong indicators of interest. She's initiated conversations about 4 times, she smiles at me, says flirty things, she's introduced herself and told me a bit about herself and says things like 'ill be at the gym tomorrow at blah blah this time" , "the girls are gonna love this" when seeing me work out etc

I think she's very attractive and deff my type, we've haven't spoken much but she seems like a down to earth, smart, likeable girl and ordinarily I would absolutely be interested

however

my break-up has crushed me and even though there is zero hope of reconciling with my ex I am not over her. I think this new girl has potential but I don't want to use/mistreat her. However I get the feeling she is getting a bit impatient and wants things to progress and for me to make a move/make more effort. at this point she's made all the effort. were both mid 20s. she doesn't know im recovering from a break-up

I'm considering asking her out but don't know if im ready or what I want etc

any advice on course of action and how I should approach this
