My male co worker does the following things. He is doing this more and more and has got me confused if we are work friends or if he has caught feelings and trying to see if the feeling is mutual.

Things he does:
Always messages me to see if I'm in the office
Keeps asking me to sit next to him if I'm in the office to keep him company.
Always asks if I miss him and tells me he is upset if I say no.
Keeps saying "I know you don't like me. I understand."
Keeps reminding me he has my number.
Always calling me up with the silliest questions when he can just email me.
He doesn't call me bro any more.
He doesn't treat me like one of the guys anymore and is a little distant.
When I mention something personal he always gives off a little shy giggle.
A mutual friend of ours asked publicly in front of a group if him and I are together. He did not say anything! I had to speak up and say no.
