Me and this guy hanged out today to have lunch
I was on my phone at times
And sometimes he would just look at me
And then he says "youre always on your phone"
So I felt bad and put my phone away
Then after lunch, we went to a park and sat down on a bench
And then I was on my phone again but i was facing him so he couldnt see my phone (it was not on purpose though)
So then he goes "why you hiding your phone? Who are you talking to?"
Then he leaned over to see what im doing
And then i pulled my phone away and said "nothing"
Then he got abit mad and was like "oh whatever, I dont care anyway"
And then i was still on my phone and still facing him
Then he goes again "why u hiding your phone seriously?" Then he leans again to see what im doing on my phone and then starts annoying me by tapping my screen
And then i finally showed him what im looking at
By the way, me and this guy dated before but we chose to remain friends
He was like this too when we were still a couple
Im confused
Why did he act like that if we are just friends now?
Does he really not care like he said?
If he didn't care, would he act like that?

-I talk to this guy online (same age) not dating just flirting and talking about life
-He talks to many girls but also claims to like me
-Today I got pissed and called him out for basically just caring about talking about himself, and sexual stuff because I actually liked him ( he sends nudes, I don't). And he said this:
but, Im not here to get back with you or something. I just wanna say a few things because I dont want you to be hurt. I understand how you feel. And if im gonna be honest you seemed really interesting at the start, but after talking to you for a while I lost that and I got really bored as you told me more about yourself. You leave nothing for me to find out or want to know, I like challenges. you'll find someone who really digs you and the way you are and the things you like. but it ain't me. I should've told you earlier, but I try not to be a bad guy but I see that this didn't end well at all. I had a really tough day and the last thing I want ontop is you being upset.
So I told him how I felt and basically if we could fix things about it and he said
I thought so but Im sorry I can't continue, and its better for you too
I asked to just be friends and he said "Of course", and then he complimented me on something I showed him and he started to talk about me and help me feel better and stuff. He didn't just ditch me. He was still super nice and talked to me. I just want to know if it's possible for him to like me maybe a month later, the same way he did recently? Advice is appreciated
