I got my nails done with shellac nails and it costs like $20 to get a "color change" but i only got them done this color because i had an event this weekend... Can just use nail polish remover and get the color off? Then maybe repaint them another color after? The nail polish remover won't remove the shellac will it? I just got them done 3 days ago...

Ok so I don't consider myself a tomboy but I grew up with my brother, and people have noticed me being not-so-girly. My friends are very cliché like, they like shopping, makeup, makeover sessions and gossip/talking about boys. I'M NOT. Sure, I wear heels and wear nail polish. (idk i consider that that makes me feminine) BUT I'm lazy, can't be bothered to wear makeup because it's expensive and I'd suck at it, I hate shopping, I hate gossip and blabla. Point is, my friends started saying I don't care about them, that I don't "prove my friendship". So it started an argument, because what the fuck, I have to prove? I'm friends with someone? WHAT. So out of anger, the argument strayed away and it became more personal. I sort of cut my ties, and for good. (I think they blocked me but not sure) It was hurtful at first, and kind of wondering if i was wrong to cut ties? I don't really know, but when I shared this with my mother, she said "tell thek to *fak you*" (with her foreign accent) (was beautiful) (mothers know best? Like that tangled song?)

And I DON'T mean "natural look" make-up. I mean no make-up at all, a girl who never ever wears make-up. Oh, and also nail polish.

I don't wearwear make-up, but because I just don't like to. I feel like if I did, the result wouldn't be my true self. But I DON'T judge the girls who do wear make-up, it's their choice and I'm not saying they're fake or anything like that.

I don't use nail polish, but just because I don't like it. I prefer the natural look of my nails, and I keep them short and clean.

How do you men feel about a spa day at home where your partner or child goes all out on your hands and/or feet? Would you have rules? Would you wear it out of the house?


Ladies, have the men in your life let you do their nails? How did they react? My dad's rule was always clear polish only.
