My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year and 5 months. The beginning of our relationship started with good chemistry, trust, and excitement. About 4 months in everything changed. My boyfriend constantly called me an old lady because I worked a job that required me to be up at 5am, so generally I was in bed by 9-10pm. He wasn't working a real job and still living at home (he was starting up his own business). We are both 29. I was working 12 hour shifts in the ER. We lived an hour and a half apart.

He would tell me he'd come visit and see me 15 minutes after I would get home from work. On a couple of occasions, he called me at the time he was suppose to be arriving at my apartment to tell me he was going to be an hour late. I was generally upset, that I was tired, and I was excited to see him and that being late upset me. He pretty much told me that it was my problem, and that his ex never had a problem with it.

Things like this continued. He once told me that his ex used to do her makeup really well, and asked me why I didn't wear more makeup because I would look prettier.

He would also tell me how he had such great sex in college.

He always pointed out my little bits of flab and would say how I was going to be a wrinkly old lady.

Sometimes after 2 weeks of not seeing each other, he'd come over, and wouldn't even initiate sex with me. He would tell me how he jacked off at home. He only likes sex every 3 weeks.

He'd mention how he only dated younger girls in the past.

After all this time, I've become depressed and really took a hit on my self esteem. We've been trying to work things out and he's finally realized how childish and immature some of the things were that he said to me. In the past when I tried to talk to him about this, he always said I was too sensitive. Or would call me crazy for getting so upset at some of the things he told me or call me insecure.

Now, I'm just resentful. Is this even worth saving?

I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. I knew he had an ex- girlfriend who he was with for over 5 years in the beginning already - it came out while we're talking one day and it sounded like his ex-girlfriend broke up with him because he didn't want to get married but she did (they are both in their 40s). I don't know when they broke up or any other details because I am the type of person who don't ask about past relationships.
I recently saw that he has some videos of him and his ex on his phone (from last year when they're on vacation). Yet, I didn't see the few pictures which we've taken in the beginning of our relationship - there are other pictures and videos that he has taken elsewhere though. I don't feel good about that, but I don't know if I should worry about it.
From the very limited information I have, it sounded like they didn't really have any problems other than him not wanting to get married. In the beginning of our relationship, he's already mentioned how people kept asking him about getting married but no one who he's been with made him want to get married yet; he didn't want kids and that he isn't in a hurry to get married because it would happen when he meets the right person. I'm perfectly fine with it because I'm the same way. He said he's been paying attention to me for two months and that he knew he had to talk with me because I was the one. A month into the relationship, he asked if I was going to marry him - he was shocked himself too saying he couldn't believe he just proposed. He started calling me with his last name, his wife, and mama, and saying how we're going to have a son. I thought they're just things he says to people whom he sees, but he said he has never called anyone "mama" - it just came out as if we're already married and has a family. We see each other often and he's been very nice. He told his friends and family about me. I'm telling myself not to worry about the videos of his ex, but it bothers me a little. Thoughts?

Recently I have gotten a temporary job offer until school starts back up in October... It's paying &19 an hour.. my ex has been working there for over a year. We haven't been on good terms since we broke up 3 months ago, I'm blocked on Facebook/phone. He has vowed to never wanting to see me again and all his friends work up there with him. I'm afraid to take the job simply because I don't want to be thought of as a stalker or intentionally getting that job just because he is there, AND OF COURSE DRAMA. What are some suggestions on how to deal with this situation... ? Yikes for me.
