Search Results: going to therapy

When I look into them, I only see severe untreated mental illness that a terrible approach is being used for. Rather than dressing up and running away from who they really are, they should be going to therapy, given proper love from friends and family, and given medication as needed to live a fulfilling life, and no, I'm not just talking about trans people here, the whole community. What are your thoughts on them?

I have 6 mental illnesses, all of which have remained unresponsive to treatment, support, and therapy, but I keep them in check as best I can, in the end, there's only so much I can do though. In addition to that, I have a two chronic illnesses, one isn't a big deal and only causes minor annoyance, but the other cuts my lifespan in half, requires 2 hours each day of treatment at specific times, and can mean many hospital visits (I've been admitted 4 times this year, including a 6 day stay that's currently still going on). I've never even been on a date. Would you date someone like that?
