I work at a hotel that’s connected to a casino, and the guy that sent me “😍” face works as a security guard at the casino. We have greeted each other in passing but never conversed. He added me on fb a few days ago and I accepted, thinking not much of it. Well tonight my boyfriend and I were chilling in the same room when he sends me a heart eyed emoji... I started to tell my boyfriend about it but then something stopped me from doing it. Should I show my boyfriend the message and tell him about it? Should I respond that I have a boyfriend? Or should I delete the message and pretend it never exist and avoid this guy at all cause? Help!

he’s on vacation at the moment.. we chatted a few weeks back and he replied to something I said with 💕🌺 as part of the reply. He’s never used hearts before.. whether one.. but especially not more then one.
We’d talked about a doctors appt I had and a few days afterward.. (after 🌺💕) .. I woke up to a picture of a sunset.. from his trip. He was eating dinner at the time.. it’s 10hrs ahead where he’s at.. so he knew it was just before 7a my time at that point. With all the different contexts that emojis have.. just wondering in this case between that.. and the sunset pic.. if I should take it as flirt.. or just a nice gesture? Maybe both? Opinions helpful..

There’s a guy I’ve been friends with for over 9 years. He’s been on an extended vacation the last few weeks. about a week or so ago.. I woke up to a couple of texted pictures that he’d sent.. where he’s at is 10hrs ahead (I’m west coast USA).. one was of the dinner he was eating.. but the other was of the sunset. Just wondering because of the context that sunset pictures can bring.. just curious if sunset pictures are meant as a flirt when coming from a guy.. or not so much? We had a brief intimate history about 3 years ago.. but this kind of stuff is new for him. The other thing that was new.. I’d sent him something.. again on this trip.. and he replied using this emoji combo..💕🌺. I know emojis can mean almost anything but with him having never used any kind of heart emoji before.. along with the subsequent sunset picture.. just wondering if this is flirt.. or another thing.. such as a friendly gesture. Opinions helpful.. it was just before 7a my time before I got the picture.. so he def knew I’d be asleep.. that’s for sure.

There is a guy it kind of blew up with last year. We were never together. We had talked off and on and almost became more last year. We both did some stupid stuff and fought over stupid things. Well then he got so mad he wouldn’t talk to me. He even blocked me on most everything.

Well it’s been a year. I came across him on Instagram. I sent a message saying I hope he was doing well. Weeks sent by and he out of no where liked my message. I sent another short message say lol. I sent that weeks ago. I hope he has a great weekend. He later sent a thanks. Then later that night he sent me a picture. I told him he looked well friend. The next day I sent a picture and talked about liking this time of year because of the Christmas movies. He the next day asked me about the movies so I sent him a text telling him about them. A few days later he asked to see pics of my lips.

I sent a text today telling him I was really glad we are friends again. That ai won’t ruin it again by liking him and I’ll keep it on a friend level. That I was glad he was talking to me again. I was sorry to make him mad. It won’t happen again.

He sent a smily emoji with hearts around it.

Does it sound like maybe the doors of communication are opening for us?
