So I met this guy 4 months ago on the internet, and we seemed to get along very well. He's very handsome, but his personality is even more interesting, and the conversations we had were really amazing and deep. The problem is that I'm currently living in North Africa, and he lives in the Netherlands. For the first 2 months we talked everyday, got to sleep in front of each other at night, and well, have some fun time on skype. He isn't very expressive, but whenever he got home drunk from parties or frat meetings he would call me and tell me how amazing he thinks I am and that he loves me. When sober, he'd also say that I'm amazing, wonderful or gorgeous, but he'd rather say that I make him happy. He also said that he's not sure he needs alcohol to feel that he loves me, but that he isn't quite sure of what love is.
When I asked what we were, because it was a bit confusing, he said it would be better not to give it a name, live the moment instead of ruining it in the end.
Then he had to go on vacation, and when he came back, it wasn't really the same. Both of us felt different. Then he had some family problems and we didn't talk for 2 months (he wouldn't answer texts so I stopped texting).
2 weeks ago, he texted me saying he still "adores" me (I used to say I adored him, in french which is my first language, because I didn't really wanna say I love you), I asked about his family. Then 2 days after, he said he missed my whispers and my voice.
That night, we had a long conversation, he apologized for not talking to me, and explained that the problems put an emotional strain on him, he didn't think it was good to be attached and invested into someone so far away. He said he wanted to see me more but couldn't promise anything so he would understand if I'd let it be over. I decided not to. We talked some, and had some fun time, and yesterday I sent him long audio messages to explain how I actually feel. And no answer yet. Do you think he does have feelings?

So I think I'm in love with this guy, and he's from a different country. There's no way I could ever understand his language and he doesn't know how to speak in English. Every time I see his photos, I get butterflies in my stomach and that breath-hitching feeling more intense than I ever felt with my past boyfriends. I'm even learning his language just for him and I'm planning to go to his country. Is this healthy? He doesn't even know I exist. I'm not interested in other guys anymore. I don't want to end up an old maid just because I'm still pining for this guy.

Before I say anything else: I don't believe that astrology has EVERYTHING to do with love or personalities, but I do believe they are a good base to start from.

He is an Aries, I am an Aquarius.

I really need some advice on this. Please be honest and please read through all of this.

I have been single for about a year now, and have had no interest in finding someone to 'fill the void' as one might say it. I was quite content being single.

That is... until this guy came along. Now he has me questioning whether or not I'd like to let him win me over, or just tell him that I have no interest. I won't lie, I never gave off the vibes of "I'm interested". I just tend to be friendly to everyone, so it was no different with this guy.

His interest in me couldn't have been any more obvious. How so? He came into class one day with a beautiful, fully bloomed tulip. Apparently, he had picked it from his garden. When he handed it to me, he told me that he had seen the flower earlier and that it had reminded him of me, but that my beauty was unmatched by anything he had ever seen before. I was shocked to say the least--a little confused as well, but flattered beyond words. I accepted his gift. Well, after multiple declines to go out on a date with him, he wore me down enough to agree to one. To be honest, it wasn't half bad.

He opened doors for me, pulled out (and pushed in) chairs for me, and slow danced with me. I won't lie--he is like a transplant from the Shakespearian times. He is very, VERY traditional. His good-bye to me? A kneel on the ground and a kiss on the hand.

He is also one of the smartest people I've ever met. He is fluent, and self taught, in 5 different languages. It takes him less than 2 months to learn a new language. It's crazy!

I am confused. I don't know what my feelings are for him yet. Should I give him more chances? Should I not?
