Okay so there is a guy in my p. e. class that I have a crush on. He stares at me a lot.. he stares at me every time I walk up the stairs to get to the bleachers & throughout the class period. One time I was on the floor tying my shoe and he was sitting in the bleachers with his buddy and he kept staring at me and I looked up and I looked at him and he wouldn't look away he just kept staring at me and I stared back. He also one time missed his name when it was called during attendance and he asked me to tell our coach that he was here and when I did I turned back around and he smiled and gave me a thumbs up. He also one time had to pick a team for kickball and he picked me to be on his team. He one time had gum and there was a guy standing between me and my crush and my crush didn't offer any other girl or guy a piece of gum, but me. He just stuck his hand out and asked if I wanted the gum. He also has tried to talk to me some.

My friend of mine asked if he was single for me and he said he was and he begged my friend 3 times who wanted to know if he was single and she said my name and he said "oh yeah I think she's in my p. e. class, but I don't know everyone's names yet." Ever since then my crush has continued to stare at me? Does he like me? What did his response to my friend mean?
