Just throwing this out there to gauge opinions. The benefit would be that pornographic or inappropriate images wouldn't make it to the screen. The downside would be a delay in posts appearing on the page and more work for the moderators.

It shows the risk of restricting differing opinions from speaking because the current system makes blocked users unable to participate in the discussion or give warnings when someone's information could have bad consequences. For example a user who politically disagree's with me blocked me on a political question unknowingly did a suggestion on an IT question that could put people at risk which i could not point out.

So, Should girls ask guys hide the blocked comments for the user so that other users can still see them?
Or should we continue blocking users from commenting entirely.

Arguments for hiding:
- Allows other users to both sides of the argument (As users who block a lot of people often block people who provide counter arguments)
- Users who got blocked are prevented from sharing critical information that can prevent harm. (Debunking things like dangerous health practices or when someone recommends useless protection or something with hidden risks).
- Prevents radicalization when idea's are left unopposed.
- Prevents the site from shifting to much into one side of the debate ensuring a healthy discussion.
- Actual abuse typically is removed by the moderators so this gets naturally filtered by the team.
- It makes it harder to see who blocked you making people less inclined to create alternative accounts.

Arguments for blocking:
- Users might see the comments if they are not logged in.
- Users who block could be confused when the blocked user interacts with someone else on there comments as they can not see the entire conversation.
- Prevents people mass discrediting others by purposely targeting all there opinions with false information (Should still be a bannable offense if its false information).

Women say they can do whatever a man can do, yet from paying taxes, to playing sports to raising children, women show incompetence. They like to talk big, saying things like they don't need a man yet act very little. I don't see why this question should be censored because it's all just reality and really any emotional female moderators who censors this will just be proven my point.

Posts and opinions can get removed for the smallest little thing or even for no apparent reason and it's just covered by a blanket reason by admin.

It's either people are too sensitive or there is too much bird seed for dobbers like moderator status etc.

I personally feel a lot of the fun and frankly the information you might want from a question is unavailable due to the unnecessary conservatism.

Does it happen that what you say is not really what you think? And: that what you do is not what you said you would? And if this is the case, why do you do it and how do you expkain it to others and to yourself?
