The reason I included that he was a soldier and in college is because I want to do something creative. We've been together for three years and this is the first time I would have to appropriately ask him to something. When he asked me to his senior prom last year, I was telling him how much I craved some grapefruit frozen yogurt. I was at his house hanging out with his mom and sister when he randomly left the house. He came back with a giant tub of grapefruit froyo and it was decorated pretty with yellow and wihite flowers with strawberries and mangos. He's like a health geek, but I was thinking on our date on Saturday at the Cheesecake factory I could talk to the waitress or waiter and ask for like "Prom?" in chocolate sauce or something and candles and stuff. I also thought maybe I could make him healthy fruit and use cut outs to make the words.. Any ideas guys and girls? I will put a poll up for some of my ideas too.

It annoys me a little bit when you see people, especially girls, slating men for not asking them out on a first date in the dream, ideal, princess fairy-tale way and yet they would never have the stones to ask someone themselves. The likelyhood of your dream man/woman approaching you on a unicorn with a bouquet of flowers handgrown by the Queen of England's personal leprechaun, scented with Galaxy chocolate and wearing a cape made only of newly born alive kittens is pretty slim.

So a bit of a poll. How many of you girls and guys have plucked up the courage and asked someone out?
