So I'm 9 months pregnant and my boyfriend doesn't seem concerned that he doesn't have a job right now so I've been asking him how it's going looking or why is he wasting time playin music with his friends and poker... But apparently I'm nagging him and he's doing his best according to him, he's not thinking past the moment he's in how will our family survive... he tells me I'm a bitch and to fuck off am I wrong for askin and pushing the importance after all he told me to quit my job 6 mos ago I never would have but he insisted and he was workin and didn't like my job as a waitress. Should I just give up on this?

So I'm helping someone with a paper for school. This person chose to write about "fat Barbie" which is a Barbie that looks like a regular barbie, but with 3 chins, round belly, and fuller legs. We're not sure if we should argue for or against. I'm biology and nutrition majors, so I believe health is of importance. On the other hand, I think people should be able to feel confident. But then, is feeling "pretty" more important than the many risks that obesity carries? I'm not trying to fat shame, but we have to be realistic. Statistically, overweight people have higher chance of diseases. Yes, there are some overweight people who are healthier than some thin people, but the numbers don't lie. I do think it's important for people to feel confident and good about themselves, but it's also important to keep your heart, arteries, pancreas, liver, knees, joints, and overall body healthy (which these areas are usually worse affected by obesity).
We looked up both sides. Critics say it promotes obesity. Some say it normalizes obesity. Supporters say fat Barbie helps people see different body types (not every woman is tall and skinny). Others say it helps reflect/represent the growing population.
I'd like to know other people's thoughts on this. Thank you and please be civilized :)
