Me and my ex boyfriend broke up over an argument a week ago (mainly caused from my trust issues)
Most of our fights is because of my lack of trust for him
He has never cheated on me before but I kept thinking he will cheat like my previous ex did but I realize now that I'm an idiot for not trusting him :(
I have told all my close friends about everything thats happened and also the things during the relationship (the good and the bad)
They all think he's a great guy (some of them have seen him already) as they know he treats me right and all that and thinks my boyfriend truly loves me
My ex even told my friend's boyfriend that I'm the best girlfriend he has ever had
All of my friends think he's going to come back even though he has blocked me from everything and deleted all our pictures straight away
They think it was the heat of the moment and he's not thinking straight at the moment and still angry and need space and that when he calms down, he will come back and talk to me
Then I asked my big brother for advice (my ex is 27 and my bro is 29) so similar age and my bro has met him before
My big brother thinks he's a great guy as well
I told my big brother what happened and all the things my ex boyfriend had done for me and all that
He told me that my ex is sick of my trust issues and that I should be the one apologizing and try messaging him again to see if he replies or not
But he thinks that my ex might not come back
Which one should I believe?
My friends or my big brother?
Im so confused

I am 23 and never been in a relationship. I don't trust guys in general. Plus my low self esteem doesn't help. I didn't get much attention from guys in hs. Only in my senior year did guys start asking me out. And when they did, I either got a bad vibe or was too shy to do anything about it so I let them move on. In college, a couple of guys would compliment me and such but I generally didn't do anything about it. I've tried online dating and those guys either eventually fizzled out or I lost interest in. I've never had sex. The most I've done is kiss a guy. If I were to actually meet a guy in which there was a mutual connection, I fear I'd have a difficult time showing affection due to my lack of experience. Plus, I'm terrified to lose my virginity. People say I'm picky and all that stuff, can you blame me? What I don't get is people say I'm pretty and all that stuff (yet I think I'm just plain in the face) but I don't get much attention from guys. What is the issue here? From this point, I don't really expect to meet the "right guy" with where I currently am. I don't really have many expectations due to my experience and what I hear happens to others.

I am in my early twenties. Never been in a relationship. Have gone on "dates" through online. They either go no where or last pretty short term/fizzle out. I cannot trust people. I would love to be in a romantic relationship. I am told I'm a pretty girl by others. I'm kind of thick, lost over 60 lbs for the year and am still very insecure in my figure. I know you're supposed to love yourself before you love anyone else. But. I am so caught in my negative thought pattern due to my lack of romantic relationships. I don't go out often and pretty much have no friends. People tend to automatically assume I'm picky. In hs, guys didn't really give me the time of day. Was only asked out once or twice and I didn't like them that much/was scared to open up. I have terrible anxiety and have come to the conclusion that I'm going to end up alone.

My mother thinks I should continue online due to my introvertedness but I believe that is not the best idea. I feel most of the guys on there want casual sex. Anyway, I'm still a virgin too. And at 23, that's pretty sad. Only once in a while will a good looking guy check me out. And the guys that look at me, I have no interest in. It bugs me and I feel so down about this. I really must not be attractive :/. I would love to put myself out there and fall in love but I feel my chances are slowly diminishing. Oh, don't forget that everyone I know has been in a romantic relationship but me.
