Alright I've asked this question before but I got 1 response sooo I'm gonna try again...

So me and this guy have know eachother for our entire lives, since we were babies and our parents are best friends. The one problem is, he's totally bad with relationships, I'm not sure if he even knows how to have one. Because of his parents divorce/cheating and the fact he doesn't want to screw up our friendship or our family's relationship... he's being "difficult."

All he told me is that he "isn't big into relationships" but the kid is still completely down to make out with me? (that's putting it lightly) I do know there are strong emotions between us. He's told me he likes me... and now that I'm putting the pieces together, we've probably both liked eachother since we were little kids.

The thing is because of his "fear" of realtionships I'm not sure of he knows how to handle them, I mean he hasn't dated anyone since his parents divorce in 8th grade, and he's 18 now...

Last Wednesday we went on another "date" to a drive in movie, I met his friends and apparently he's told them a lot about me (I had previously taken him to prom, that was the first time we kissed) and we ended up having a VERY passionate makeout session for nearly two hours... But we didn't take it any further. So clearly he's interested in me, but it's now four days later and we havn't really texted or communicated... I was talking to my mom and she said to be casual about things, but I don't understand why he hasn't tried to communicate? Maybe he's scared? Does he only want the physical stuff?

I'm uber confused and don't know what to do... I would love your advice, seriously!!

This guy and I are a fantastic match as far as compatibility is concerned. We share the same sense of humour, have similar interests and on the same page in terms of morals and values. He is actually boyfriend material. Very caring and attentive also.

Date 1 was bowling. We had a great time. We were affectionate and the date ended with a kiss. Date 2 he took me on a jetboat ride and lunch afterwards, great time again.

In between these dates I wasn't really feeling that magic excitement to hurry up and see him again. I wasn't even feeling the need to text or talk everyday with him. It left me confused as to why. I did have a little bit of an attraction to him but it was just so so.

On the second date when he dropped me home, I invited him in. We got very sexy on the couch, straddling him, bit of grinding and massive make out session. I hadn't done anything like this with anyone since I broke up with my ex 4 mths ago so naturally I was getting a little excited at the thought another man was totally into me and desired me that way.

Because he wasn't actually setting me alight with his kisses I decided to sleep with him more so because I wanted to see if having sex would ignite something and whether afterwards I would feel some sort of bond or attachment. I didn't feel attachment. The sex itself was not bad.

Isn't it meant to be happy and exciting, your supposed to want to shag the shit out of that person every time you are together. Your supposed to want to chat with them daily and initiate the affection and flirting. Your supposed to want to hurry up and see them again. It was like that with my 2nd husband, I was giddy with excitement and it was like that with my ex, by the third date with my ex I was totally lost in him and wanted to be with him all the time. I compared all that to this lovely guy and it wasn't there... The actual spark with this guy has been a little lacklustre and my attitude has been just "meh". Why?
