I had a friends with benefits situation with a guy for a while. He didn't want a gf. We lasted a bit but we were in a gray area I knew he was talking to other people. I told him I kissed someone else cause I wanted to be honest with him. Then he broke things off. We went back and forth trying it again and then completely stopped. He was even gonna be my first he said he loved me and all this stuff and how if he wasn't a senior we would be together. Two months after we end I find out he has a gf. This really got to me. I felt worthless and not good enough and no guy has ever made me think that less of myself before. So I confronted him about it and he said I was acting like a 5 year old when I was just being honest about my feelings. He told me to get over it its over he changed his mind. I can't help but think everything he told me was a lie. Our conversation ended rough. Most of it was him saying I couldnt pin anything on him I was doing everything in our situation I initiated everything when he was the one feeling me up and asking for stuff. But after it was all done I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I felt genuinely happy to get rid of those thoughts and feelings. However he was a good friend of mine for a while and it feels weird that we're on bad terms. I don't like holding grudges like you never know what life has in store or the last time you're gonna talk to someone. So my question is this happened 3 days ago do I try to wait and fix this or just leave it and possibly never speak to him at all ever again? What he did hurt me but having this grudge is getting to me and I'm very confused on what to do. Am I overreacting? I don't think im jealous im just hurt he did exactly the thing keeping us from being together. That's why I think all he did and said was lie to me.
