Search Results: the honest approach

So, assume I like someone and I think I want to date her. I feel like the most honest way would be to reveal my intentions right away and see what she thinks about it. On the other hand, this may bring her into the inconvenient situation that she has to reject me upfront.

So maybe it's a little better to start flirting with her and see how she reacts? It's less direct, but I run the risk of making a big fool of myself, and she might feel harassed by it. Also, some girls might be too shy too react while they are actually interested, whereas other just flirt for fun, so it's pretty inconclusive.

The third option is to get to know her as a friend first. Unfortunately, this is really likely to get me into the friendzone, and asking her out in that situation might destroy the friendship and thus hurt her even more. Also it's kind of dishonest.

What do you recommend?

I never get dates, girls don't notice me, rate me 1/10, i just wanna know if it's about my looks, so there on i can clear if its my race, attitude or just my approach. Please be brutally honest, i don't get butt hurt lol.
